To be fair I thought this was quite decent journalism. Showed both points of view, no editing or strawmanning, shocking really for Channel 4. This was pretty rational on the whole.

Good journalism presents alternative points of view and then offers someone to counter that in a lively debate, which almost never happens on any side these days. Whether or not the investigators personal perspective is correct doesn't change that it was good journalism.

I don't know where I stand on this issue it's too complicated and my position could change too easily. What I do know is that it is wrong for the media to try and force an opinion onto the public. Ambushing a public figure with the intent to humiliate him is just... just wrong.
