It’s about family values. Children are expected to take care of their parents as they have taken care of them in the past. The sons had enough money, but they or their wives didn’t want to help the parents. They separated the parents because each child was after inheritance. They basically (elder) abused their parents and the movie shows how children can be etc. And if I remember correctly Salman Khan plays a character of their adopted son and he helps them come together. Because the children separated the parents which affected their health etc. It shows that you don’t need to be blood to take care of someone and that parents should not build on the support of their children. And that children shouldn’t mistreat their parents etc. In the end it shows that not everything can be forgiven. The song ties more into the movie and the sentiment. So watching it as a stand alone video doesn’t really get the message across. Melanoma Chaudry was a 90’s actress. She was in a lot of movies then. She was my favorite. It’s not a sad song. I believe the translations may not be right. It’s a love song. So her smiling makes sense. The song is about how this love has the feeling of first love and How she is longing for their love. The movie is a must watch because it shows a lot about culture and you get to know more about our family values.
