What's funny the guys from the US were impressed with Divac and Stojakovic and here in Serbia, we were impressed with Bodiroga who might be the best player ever not to play in the NBA. Kings drafted him but he did not want to leave Europe

Peja was one of the deadliest of all time in my opinion simply because although players train to be able to shoot threes from all sides, many of them end up favoring a side/angle, excluding Stephen Curry, Ray Allen and Peja. He was deadly from all angles

kings ran backdoor for him with vlade and webber. it was run and gun 3s but with a balance of good plays in the halfcourt. dallas meanwhile just shot 3s for the heck of it and ran. i remember dirk used to attempt more 3s than his finals and mvp year. this why the kings pushed the lakers to the limit. dirk, peja, nash would thrive in this era. wesley person who lost in this video, probably has a duncan robinson role.

Yes. The confusion seemed to stem from the change of rules between the 2002 and 2003 competition. Stojakovic was involved in a tie-breaker in 2002 as well, only that one lasted just 24 seconds. In 2003, the buzzer still sounded at 24 seconds, leading Stojakovic to believe his round was over, even though it was supposed to be a minute. The NBA decided it'd only be fair to re-do the round on account of their own mistake.

some how Peja is somewhat forgotten, when people talk about the legendary 96 draft, they usually dont mention peja, when people talk about one of the best shooters in history, they dont mention peja, when people talk about one of the best shooting big man in history, they dont mention peja neither...from what i know, he had a lot of inconsistency, especially in the playoffs due to injuries, but that doesnt change the fact that he is one of the best shooter ever, for a long time the best shooters in the nba were ray allen and peja stojakovic. and peja is also a champion.

The Sacramento Kings are the real champs of 2002. David Stern fixed that series but it's one thing for the Lakers to be disappointed with league assistance to win, But the Lakers instead flexed their muscles when the phantom calls were being made and fully embracing the league assistance like cowards.
