you have confused two concepts, One is EER and the other is SEER, SEER is the overall seasonal energy efficiency ratio, the company never claimed to have an EER of four but the SEER of four. secondly having a low power factor is considered bad in the field of engineering, low power factor means that the reactive power is more. In fact we usually perform power factor correction in industries because the WAPDA penalizes you in electric bills for having low power factor, it puts more load on the transmission line.

I have heard from tech friends that every year,in names of feature,most companies are selling the same machines with new marketing gimmicks,and one shouldn't go for tall claims. Moreover the built quality is so compromised these days,that a new unit hardly runs for 2-3 years,so its not wise to spend excessive money. Brother i want maximum saving model room size is 11.4X12=136.8 sq foot, let me know for which brand and model i should go in t3 i operate AC at 29 to 30 degree because of children's and night only... My range is near 80 90. I can spent more if energy efficiency is guaranteed let me know 1ton will do it or 1.5 ton is better for energy efficiency located in karachi where max recorded temprature is 46 degree Hopefully you will reply.
