Greystoke Mahale's resident pelican "Big Bird" sets off over lake Tanganyika for his evening flight. Only this time he has a camera attached to his beak! www.nomad-tanzania.com

Oh man, of course it's real. The people who took him in and taught him to fly are my extended family, and were sitting in my kitchen 5 minutes ago telling me about it.

"Bigbird" the pelican lost his parents and flock after a storm, before he learned to fly. He was taken in by the staff at Greystoke Mahale in Tanzania, and taught him how to fly flapping their arms. so "Bigbird" really trust them and of course they trust "Bigbird" to not fly away with their camera.
