it should be mentioned that elder scrolls lore is fluid and Kirkbride, apparently thru CODA, basically said that your head canon is as valid as any other head canon and the lore. So, if your character doesn't join a guild that's your canon. if you add a mod and treat it as part of your characters story, go ahead. if you don't like the godhead theory you can ignore it.

the difference between the Dominion and the Imperium is that everyone the Imperium is fighting is just as bad as them, barring the Tau and possibly the Necrons depending on the dynasty, if not worse, whereas its accurate to say the Dominion compared to everyone else in TES are like what the Nazi's were to the rest of the world, only on a worse scale since as opposed to simply believing they are gods chosen race to rule the world like the actual Nazis, they believe its their right to actually reset the world and become gods, so they can rewrite the universe to suit elven dominance (they actually almost did when they took the Imperial Capital during the great war, but the Emperors last ditch counter siege that trapped the majority of the elves in the city put a stop to that), and also effectively erasing every non-elf race from existence, so its like if the Nazis had a super weapon that could erase every non-Aryan and made hitler god, thats essentially what the dominion tried to do

Please Mister Palinal do not kill the following elves. There are rules which you must abide by or be held in contempt and punishment if you break. Do not kill most Lord of the Rings elves they are mostly righteous and good by a true omnipotent creator who made them perfect. The Dark Eldar and most abhorrent deceitful backstabbing Eldar leadership in general you are alright in ridding of doing so. You will find navigating and erasing Commorragh will be a challenge and take a long just because of how big the dimension is in size. It's larger rhen Nirn and possibly rivals the size of Mundas itself. Warhammer Fantasy elves there are some you can and other you shall not be allowed to lay a hand on. Lord of the Rings Orcs can be considered on the list due to their defiled origins in relationship with the good righteous elves. Slaanesh being a abomination of lawless wicked Eldar who committed the most defiling and profane of deeds and fruits imaginable born of absolute lawlessness and defilement. You are allowed to lay your blade down upon their necks and very chaotic creations of wicked imaginations that are evil continually. Those are the set parameters in accordance of what you may and may not do. And depending if the Daevite Empire from the SCP Mythos can be described as evil elves that list may increase. But be wary if they are on your target list. For there is a entity they revere as a deity even stronger then Slaanesh that is related to the Daevite Empire's culture and theology with the title called the Scarlet King. Beware of him. He's worse then all the Daedric Princes and even Sithis combined.

I made that comment knowing full well the Imperials were going to be the exception again, but I wanted it to be more snappy instead of a boring essay full of exceptions. The Thalmor are also breaking the pattern, rather than enslavement they want genocide, and it's not even isolated to just the races of man. The Thalmor are against absolutely everyone, even Alduin should have been trying to stop them.

The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion is a great game imho. And the DLCs Knights of the Nine (where a good bit of this lore comes from) and The Shivering Isles (probaly one of the most bat shit insane DLCs ever) are great as well! Would highly recommend them to anyone remotely interested in TES

To be fair to mer as they are my favorute except 4th era Thalmor most of them are very chill. Especially the bosmer. Also there were Ayleids who actually sided with humans look at the Last Ayleid king Lalerian Dynar who is a MASSIVE gigachad who you can actually talk with.

Im not a fan of Pelinal and his gennocide. The Alyids were awefull but he must have killed many innocents among them.
