Dash cams are a good investment. It saved me in California when I got brake checked on I-15 in a semi truck. The fellow had to change his story after I showed the recording to California Highway Patrol. He went from seeing dollar signs to getting screwed in a flash. 🤣🤣

Just remember that dash cams are a two edged sword. It can prove your case or the other driver's case. I have two of these same cameras, one for each vehicle. They are very good cameras with a very long recording memory (256gb card), about 28 hrs with both cameras connected, 56 hrs with just the front camera (rear camera disconnected) at 1080p. The Pelsee player is cumbersome with some features that are not intuitive. Windows 10 doesn't recognize the camera. I have to remove the memory card, install it in the card adapter and use 3rd party software to join all the videos into one movie (I use Windows Movie Maker). I can connect my iPad to the camea wirelessly and have a bigger view than what's on the camera's display. I'm still in the learning curve; maybe some issues are mine and not the camera or software.

i bought this too during prime day. The volume is too low for the AI ADAS and BSD features. Wish we could adjust the volume higher. Also, u were supposed to use the anti static sticker first before u mount the dashcam on the window.

I installed this camera in my truck yesterday and haven't yet had time to mess with the settings. Does the unit turn itself on/off when the vehicle is turned on/off? After installation, I turned it off manually because it didn't seem to turn itself off. Again this morning, I had to turn it on by hand.

It’s according to the power source you connect it to. There is settings for it to be on all the time called parked mode or something. It will start recording if it gets hit or broken into.

According to Amazon, this camera has built in WiFi. So, is there a monthly subscription for this setup, and if so how much? Or does this camera sync to the phone? Thanks for the video.

The wifi is to transfer the videos to the phone.

no subscription needed. WiFi only to connect to ur phone so u can download videos and change the settings etc etc.

Did you ever get the app to show MPH and not KM. If so what did you do. I have the same issues.

@@autodiagyt This is the reply I received. It seemed complicated to solve an issue with the app not reading MPH. There is a file attached to the email as well. I was checking to see if you may have received something different. Hello Larry, Thanks for reaching out to address your concern, we have developed a firmware to solve the issue you are facing. Kindly check the file attached and instructions to do a system update. 1. Format the memory card in your dash cam, then power off the unit and take out the memory card. 2. Download the file to your computer and copy all the file(s) in the folder to the root directory of your MircoSD card. Unzip the file if it’s .zip/.rar. 3. Insert the MircoSD card into your dash cam, then connect it to the power cord. The upgrading process starts automatically. 4. When the upgrading process shows 100% with notes informing the upgrade is successful, the dash cam will restart. 5. Go to Sys settings to operate a Disk formatting to avoid another update when powering again, then manage the settings per your needs accordingly. Picoscope and the car it’s in. It’s best to test it under the connection it’s being used.

@@autodiagyt I could not find any "PicoScope" BATTERY tester. BATTERY tester needs to draw some serious Amperes, say 50 Amps or 100 Amps to determine if battery is capable of supplying 100 Amps. PicoScope cannot do that. Am I missing something? I ain't do no dope. PS: I need INDEPENDENT tester, without "car". Stand alone battery, out of the vehicle. PSS: my shop buddies hate PicoScope because they ain't no unnestah it. Too much brain power is needed to unnestah the scope. They need simple plug-n-play standalone device, fast, no hookups needed, able to test alternator, etc.

I felt the same way to right up to the point my buddy got hit and the guys insurance wasn't going to pay. If he didn't have the camera he would of been screwed.

Avoid REXING dash cam at all costs. It has severe bugs, practically useless. Has no quality control. I returned it, bought Garmin. Difference is day and night.
