Ahh it’s you! I love You from Instagram! I have learned so much about SI joint pain from your videos- you made it instantly more clear to me than all the research I had done on my own. I was so annoyed when my PT said the SI joint pain was related to tightness in the pelvic floor. I just wanted to do hip exercises and get my back strong. But she was right and this really explains how it is all connected. Thank you!

I'm in my 2nd flare up. Worse than the 1st time in some ways, better in others. PRP injection, I believe, resolved my si joint dysfunction 8 months or so after taking the shot. Very, very, very slow progression. Mine is due to an injury. It's hypermobile for sure. Ligamentopathy. The PRP lasted for at 1.5 years of zero pain. But I believe it came unglued because of rubbing tissue over time due to postural and muscular imbalances. I know understand what I need to do. I need to master diaphragm breathing. All three diaphragms shouid be stacked. My body needs to be stacked, aligned, and balanced, head to toe, front to back, side to side. Part of that effort is, this time, I'm avoiding shots and trying to address this using PT and other modalities. Shockwave has been very helpful. It has been helping remove adhesions, regenerate tissue, and remove nerve entrapments. Next is postural restoration and breathing. And the final piece I have is MAT/MET and myofascial release. I've learned that i dont respond well to massage and acu. It actually makes it feel worse. Gentle or pinpoint release is best. Like butter melting. MET/MAT essentially is rebuilding the neural pathways between the brain and the tissue. It's all about training the brain that it's ok to tell the muscle to release the tension and relax. That I think is the secret to break the cycle of inflammation, stiffness, and getting out of pain. It's not easy..I may even still do prp or stem cell at the end but addressing the imbalances and rebuilding the mind muscle connection needs to come first.😮

I was seeing a pelvic floor therapist for three months and then I developed a herniated disk and SI joint pain with sciatica. I have been in excruciating pain for six weeks

Can pelvic floor dysfunction affect digestion? Great information, thank you!

In my experience yes, the abs massage the digestive tract and they tend to be displaced

Great interview. Thank you! Very informative and helpful. I have been struggling since I had a tummy tuck with abdominal repair. I have internal scarring of the fascia and fibrosis. I’m working on the program but not getting very far in terms of stability. I think maybe the pelvic floor is the missing piece to my puzzle.

It seems impossible to find a pelvic floor therapist. There's one near me but they don't take insurance. NE Ohio.

Hi ! I’m following all your techniques. I have had mild Si symptoms and MRI Results Showed L345 S1 Bulging and mild facet joint pain. PT confirming SI Joint pain etc . My main concern is the constant tension around my core like a tight corset feeling that gets worse with stress or other factors . It used to be so tight I felt panicky and was hyperventilating. I also went jogging and felt awful tightness in my pelvic floor area that eventually left . But the biggest problem is the tension around my obliques to my pubic bone/abdomen and of course the si joint has gotten worse from poor body mechanics and extreme activities and poor stretching. Thanks for your input.

These are my symptoms to a T. I'm small and injured myself lifting something heavy but prior was having leg berve pain , pelvic and lower back pain, 2 weeks later still can't walk, sit, lay down without crying in pain. Spent the day in the Er where the doc shamed me for wasting his time. That my x- ray and mri were fine. Although I'm convinced he didnt know how to read the pictures. Will take them to a specialist. But I'm thinking its this. My hips and pelvic area feel broken, but I'm told its just pulled muscles 😤

The problem with pelvic floor hypertension and SI joint pain is that the exercises are diametrically opposed. Feeling cursed. 😢

I and my specialists have finally figured out the root issue of my right SI joint dysfunction. I shouid i say injured cause an injury caused the dysfunction, the joint being hypermobile. It is the dorsal sacroiliac ligament. It explains all my pain, from mu upper and mid back. The lats. Pelvis. Low back ofc. Si. All of it. Sooo..the question is can your program fix the dorsal SI ligament? It is an uncommon ligament to injure even among those with SI joint dysfunction. Is this a case of i need to not walk but run to get prolotherapy /PRP/stem cell therapy injections into those ligaments? I cant wait another year or two for it to be strong. I need a cheat code. Im concerned that exercise is just not enough and will take too long to heal. Ive been going for radial shockwave and it's been helping but it's not enough i dont think. Now im trying stemwave shockwave which is focused and penetrates deeper and supoosedly generates more stemcells than radial shockwave. Ill see how that goes but i cant do another 2 years of this. My first flare up took me almost 2 years to get better. Now im in my 2nd flare up. I do understand exercise is necessary to cocoon the area. I get it. But i want to get those ligaments healed yesterday so i can be strong snd pain free and then i can go full bore in the gym correcting imbalances and cocooning the SI joint.
