The words that boss sunday says: "The night is still... too short..." Is basically him saying that he doesn't want to wake up back to a harsh reality. Since that'd mean that those who can't fend for themselves (ex:people who have disabilities and etc will have no place to stay to). Those with harsh realities goes to the penacony to escape that reality. And Sunday wants to protect those people despite his way of "protecting" them not being exactly the correct way, yet that's his belief and thats why he did all of the actions that he did in the story. Because he believed it was the right thing to do, dan heng and many others mentions that he has a noble heart. Anyways just know that sunday isn't bad in general, its just that his belief of doing the "right" thing wasnt correct.

I was confused when everyone's memories of Acceron vanished but thought that it was a nihility thing since she tends to forget a lot of things. The real moment that I realized that it was all a dream was when Screwlum said that they're going to basically put the simulated universe on hold to help fix Pencony. The SU is Herta's baby and to suddenly put it on the back burner for some random ass planet they have no stake in? Nah I found that so strange that I was triple checking the options for the variable that couldn't be but was disappointed in the end that it was Misha in the lobby.

Tectone's issue is he is so used to having high quality content with ZERO downtime (youtube video reacting), that he now cant have patience or respect for anything that isnt instant. Anytime there is a downtime in the story, a slow but dramatic moment, he instantly loses focus - looks at chat for instant dopamine injection. If this is his way of enjoying the story, so be it, I just personally cant see it, its like if your friend talked to you while the movie is playing in cinema. He is the type of person to blame people for being weak, and not being able to pay attention when your brain isnt bombarded with instant gratification - is a skill issue. misha has always stood out in such a weird way for said story reasons and the way theyve shown him in which places let you figure out so many things early on. like the one that solidified that he was closely connected or was the watch maker was the early interaction of archeron being muged by some thugs and clockie asking to save misha, but those thugs never once acknowladged misha and even written despite translation would be weird, it was written that the thugs were trying to pick on only 1 person because they could only see 1 person. the thing that did add to this for knowing theres a flaw is when they reviled him being the watch maker and being a meme, im like "wait how the hell did we meet him in the lobby thats supposed to be reality, can he go into reality?". theirs so many layers of lies and deceptions in penacony that its impressive that its trackable. and one of the few cases that "its just a dream bro" is valid.

Man good thing I did the story in silence myself first. Man is yappin non stop and making excuses missing relevant story points due to chat mom jokes. Didn't know chat could control you that much. Also I love the jokes and banter but there is a time a place for them. Taking in somber, emotional, epic moments like the last Acheron part just get ruined by some dumb "i told you" or "imma fuck him" or "who is he yappin to" *jokes*. Is it just me or does the Penacony arc remind me of Persona 5 Royal? I mean the game in general does remind me of persona but there are real parallels here. The Metaverse is like the Dreamscape and personal dreamscapes (emoscapes) are like the palaces. And what we did during the bartending event to the Dreamjolt Troupe customers was very similar to the changes of heart of P5R. Memory zone memes are like the shadows. Maruki did something similar to Sunday in his false reality with similar intentions.

I have a crazy theory I think the devs are going to calibrate all our choices when choosing what world go next and whichever one has the most support will be our next destination. If you think about it 2.6 will probably be not the patch before 3.0 likely it will be 2.8. assuming we get the mission hinted by sampo at the end of the black swan quest. There is also the continuance with loufu the Devs mentioned during livestream. So I think 2.3 to 2.8 is all done up and they are waiting for our choices to determine where the trailblazers will go next

Having even basic knowledge of HI3rd makes the story so much more enjoyable. Raiden Mei being her actual name, the reference to mei helping kiana while she was falling in both the "lament of the fallen" and "graduation trip" animated shorts, the entire story tracing the exact same path as project stigma in the finality arc.

Which is the event that welt references when he talks to acheron in the first half of the penacony story Spoilers for HI3rd: Project stigma basically tries to save civilization by philosiphically determining the value of humans as their talent and potential, then it manifests those things as a separate lifeform (ideas) while placing the humans who cannot exist witht he honkai (easily over 99% of the population) in a dream to create a collective higher being (spiritual adam), all to prevent future honkai disasters and allow civilization to exist with the coccoon of finality, another higher being. In both penacony and finality arc, the similarities in the story are: 1: the whole population is trapped in a sweet dream of their own desires while the heroes are not 2: the heroes disagree with the major culprit on a philosophical level, though the culprit has the population's best interests at heart 3: the heroes face the main culprit one time, and then lose 4: the heroes undo the collective dream by convincing the population to wake themselves up (acheron does this with the fear of death, but in HI3rd, one of the main charas goes into the dreams themselves to inspire them to wish for a change, which could not happen in the dream) 5: the heroes later come back and, with some help, eventually defeat the major culprit, while the culprit in the end accepts it (tho in HI3rds case, the culprit was always hoping that the protagonists' answer would surpass his solution)

it took me quite a bit too. i never really optimized my gear. had 20mil credits and a bunch of materials to lvl traces so like it took me almost an hour before giving up and leveling relics to 15 xd. all my sets were that cowboy set from the weekly bosses. kinda hard for the actual casuals who play for the graphics

@@feqol That took up one of the 45 minutes to an hour of runtime. Why is there padding in a *main* mission of all things. They should be struggling just to fit all the good stuff within a certain timeframe. Damn "Rule of 3" bs reminded me of the Aranara quest line from Genshin, which is something you don't want to remind some players of. And then it happens AGAIN in the grand theater, before the boss fight! 🤣
