Sweet apple on the nose, with hints of cinnamon and brown sugar - maybe a baked apple! Tastes like a baked apple with brown sugar, cinnamon and honey as well, with maybe some walnuts sprinkled over it. Mostly I'm left with honey-drenched walnuts. Definitely delicious. I'd been curious about this one, having vague memories of having liked a Welsh whisky before, and this is definitely speaking well for my memory.

It's interesting that in the previous videos there was mention of smokieness coming through from barrel charring, I never really noticed it on the previous ones, but I felt it came through fairly strong on this one. Combined that light smoke with oak, red berries and apples. Taste in a continuation of the nose, leading into a bit of honeyed vanilla.

I tasted rich apple pie with a hint of vanilla icecream.
