Having siblings with extra support needs/ from other cultures encourages your children to be aware of others who are different. Kiera is truly understanding that her sister needs mom and dad a bit more than her, specially on her 13th birthday. All 7 of your children are awesome. You are raising wonderful Young Adults . Happy birthday Keira! I'm so proud of you. It's obvious your spirit is healing well since you're schooled at home now. I'm trying SO hard not to be jealous of your Rory Gilmore trip. Have a great time! I certainly will be praying for Penelope. These surgeries and dental work are probably pretty painful, but in the long run things will be so much better for you. What a wonderful, brave and strong young woman of God you are!!! As Lincoln continues to heal, something tells me he will be talking up a storm before too long. An Dear Stephan I just want to say the relationship you have with your daughters brings tears to my eyes! I never had much of a Father growing up. Had a Step Dad for a few years that was good to me. But didn’t end up having a good relationship with my younger siblings. I got hurt when I was 13 a ended up with a broke hip an spent over a month in the hospital. After I got out my step Dad was the one taking care of me. We got close because he had to help me stand, walk, go to the restroom. All the stuff needed for me to recover. I had another surgery a little over a year later. An he didn’t have to help as much that time because I had other family members helping them. We stayed close for years but after i kinda started growing up we just kinda became distant. My Mom an him divorced. She remarried a few times since. I’m 44 an have been married since I was 20 an I’m so grateful I married a man that loves me so much. We had a difficult road to pregnancy but it finally happened at 30 for me an 31 for my husband. Then our son had his own health issues we found out about during my pregnancy. These We’re scary times. I sure you both an relate to this since sweet a Lincoln had his own scary health issues. Our son will be 13 next month an he has the kinda Dad I wished for as a young girl. I love how he loves our son! An as I’ve been watching over these last few months. I’m so touched by the love you have for all your kids is just amazing.But it’s the way you show your daughters love just brings tears to my eyes. I watched in this video how you just made sure Kiera felt so special the way you kissed her hand, the way you spun her around you just were been silly but you always were giving her amazing memories! Because one day when these amazing young ladies get ready to find love. They will know that they deserve all the love in the world! Lots of love to you all! 💜💜

Hey! I too have cleft lip and palate. It took 21 yrs to complete. It needs a lot of patience and positive outlook. I'm so happy looking at her with that attitude of hers all chilled out. There were times in my life where things seemed to hanging. Specifically around the age of 16-18 when they had put on braces for teeth to get in place. Now am 21 and had my cleft palate fistular closure surgery recently in January wherein they had stitched my tongue into palate for 3 weeks. I had rice tube on for 3 weeks and later for another 3 weeks i had eat only soft foods. I wish her all the best with her journey.
