Blocked Drain 128 - Looking For The Owner Of These Shovels…

Blocked Drain.
Customer only just bought this house. I was able to locate the problem, a blocked drain. After clearing the drain I found the problem to be 2 x plastic shovels. My guess is, the kids where out helping dad with the deck and when he said "down tools" they thought he meant down the pipe.

Not often I have seen the PEnetrator at a loss for words, but when you pulled the second board, looked down there it was.......silence for a few second....like WTH is that. hahaha. Spectacular, and I am sure the owner got a chuckle of, or maybe not, but either way super job above and beyond yet again.

As an IT consultant, I run into situations like this pretty frequently. Nobody thinks about consequences of blocking off utilities. I have two customers that put up cubicles - completely blocking off the network AND power connections. They don't even think to ask BEFORE installing cubicles. Just "Oh, we need these working". I'm close to saying "Pull the cubicles out completely, then we'll talk". (or call the fire marshal on them)

🐸 Amazing erosion around the gully! When they built the decking, it would have been sooo easy to put in an access point, but nooo! Corn!? 🌽 There MAY be a pink tail rat down the drain! All good. 👍 No 💩.

Those look like the types of scoops that come with things like dog food, fertilizer or maybe even an ice machine, but those are normally stainless steel.

Hopefully they repack dirt into the massive hole that formed by the gully so they don't have foundation issues in the future from all the water seeping through there.

Those scoops look like the scoops that come with the dog food my friend gets. The smell of rancid fat is just eeeuch. I was sitting watching the tools that you use and that nifty container for the different nozzles. I went from your video to one of the Sewer Man videos and I couldn’t get over how these poor guys work. Shows that the western world has it good really and even The condition that Donald in New York has to deal with is luxury.

Why does everyone throw grease down their kitchen sink or toilet (korean plumbing)? I either reuse it for a couple of times then let it cool and throw it in the trash usually in with papers or a big jug. We were always told not to do this especially if you have a disposal.
