Use the D209L transistor, it is much more powerful and durable. The D880 lives in this circuit for 30 seconds, then breaks through it, and also heats up. D209L plows like a watchdog and does not heat up even without a radiator. And from it the spark is longer and more powerful. The D880 C-E has a voltage of 60V, the D209L has 700V, so it does not break through!

Thank you, this looks awesome! I have some questions. There are 3 wire connections on the primary side of the transformer. It was unclear in the video where they all went to. It looked like the center tap went to the base and one wire went to the collector. Is that correct? And the other side of the primary is connected to +3.7V? Also, why did you use 24 and 28 gauge wire for the primary? Why not just use the same gauge for everything? Thanks!

Thanks. For how to connect the wires, please refer to the schematic in the description, tap the link to download the schematic. According to calculations, this type of winding is the best switching mode for this type of transistor, which reduces the temperature of the transistor.

@G E T R E K T Bro... look at the Fing video... how wide do you think the tip of his thumb is? Mine is flatter and larger at around 8mm... this is like maybe 2/3 that being generous as it comes to such a sharp point. Even using you absolutely unscientific anecdotal measurements you come out to roughly 6kv or so as the arcs produced here are literally only a couple millimeters apart and he jumpers it using tweezers so what exactly are you trying to argue as you are literally arguing with yourself here. This all ignores the ionization properties of the frayed wire allowing lower voltage breakdown. His real arclength here is likely about a mm or two. How much do you really believe this arc is because even saying 10kv is so insanely generous its unreal. You really don't seem to understand the slightest bit about any of this but are just here to argue to look smart while you accomplish the opposite in every single post.

I don't think it even tripped the gfi, and I didn't get shocked (as far as I recall lol) But once when I was 7, I had my finger in between the two prongs while I was plugging something in, and I felt the shock through my entire body for a long time before I was able to pull my hand back. I was surprised at how I seemed to be just fine afterwards. Lately I've been pondering the many memories I have that may in fact be the memory of my death, and how impossible it is to know if/when I died and have since been experiencing something like Dante's Divine Comedy.

So crazy. I feel like this has simple way of exponentially raising the volts I wonder what would happen to sound passed through this device and hooked to a speaker.

Are you sure the thing works without you manipulating something? I dont see where the voltage induces in the secondary coil without a changing magnetic field in the primary
@BigDaddyAashik Жыл бұрын
You mean without a AC current?
@chinaman4639 Жыл бұрын
@@BigDaddyAashik no I mean changing magnetic field. But the magnetic field is induced by the ac current.
@BigDaddyAashik Жыл бұрын
@@chinaman4639 you don't need an AC magnetic field (i mean a magnetic field that changes its direction according to the alternativewave) to move electrons on the other copper coil. In this one magnetic field does not change its directions(because of DC current) thus making the electrons in the primary coil flow in one direction without changing
@chinaman4639 Жыл бұрын
@@BigDaddyAashik Yes, the applied voltage is DC, this means no change in voltage --> no change in current. Without a changing current there is no way (in this config) that a voltage is permanentely induced in the secondary coil. Because to achieve this you need a changing field, or a ever growing field which in this case is impossible.

Where we can get the ceramic turn that exactly has 6 turns, whether it was 3d printed, the one that sits in top of U cores, need help in buying that part.
