Sid is definitely back any question about that, have been put to rest. Also, let’s give a shout out to Kris Letang for playing in game 1,100 Saturday Night. He hasn’t had the best start, but this guy is a warrior. For all the things he’s been through from two strokes, all the injuries, the major neck surgery that kept him out of the playoffs in 2017, and the tragedy of his father passing two years ago, he’s been through it all. Congrats on 1100 games, definitely a great milestone.

Keep that first line together & Sid will get 100 points for sure...he looks amazing. Geno looks great too & a damn shame he isn't getting rewarded with many points the last two weeks...he's really looking like he turned back the clock 5 years. What can I say about Raks. Looking every bit the first liner & opening things up for Sid & Geno as he's strong & very dangerous with those lightning quick laser shots.

Hunter something is definitely going around. My girlfriend and I are getting over a sickness too. We felt sick last Monday and just now feeling better. We lost our appetites and just sat in bed trying to get over the sickness.

It's not a coincidence that Sid gets hot when Malkin is put on his wing. Sid is an all-time great, but he can't do it alone or with a traffic cone on his wing anymore. Dubas needs to find him a quality winger. Or better yet (and harder), find a 2c and keep Malkin on Sids wing. Maybe trade away Karlsson and his 10 mill cap hit to find said player?

Every team knows what the penguins will bring to them as a system and team game. The penguins are still good enough to beat the teams that should be wins, but that doesn't work against good teams. If the penguins want a chance to beat the better teams (which I think they can) they need to bring something new to the table. It can't be the same old, it hadn't worked in years. New coach/system? I think that's the only way anything actually changes.

i we cold get 5 or 6 points vs metro team then its good week for pens but also were face stars , canucks, and jets after metro l like if pens want get better these are the game and all those games could really depends on pens destiny !!!

I like fighting in hockey. It's refreshing to see a sport let 2 men drop the gloves a duke it out. After watching nfl games where a flag is thrown everytime a receiver gets hit. It's getting almost unwatchable anymore. Acciari is doing what he was brought in to do. Kill penalties, play defense and crush people. I don't think the hit on slav was dirty just unfortunate. Now the intentional knee to knee contact was. I've seen players seasons end on those hits. I think the same guy speared bunting in the nuts with his stick as well. Havent seen a penguins player get this kind of reaction since matt cooke and let's face it, cooke was a dirty player. I'll be happy if the pens can win 2 of 3 this week. I do think the depth scoring will have to return to beat canes or caps though

Hypothetical Geno stays on Sid's wing scenario. Kraken forwards Yanni Gourde and Brandon Tanev are available. Try and trade Jarry, Poulin, Puustinen, Glass, Puljujarvi, or Graves for Gourde and Tanev. If the Pens had Bunting, Tanev, Gourde, Lizotte, and Acciari they would be harder to play against and have a whole new team chemistry and makeup. Geno stays with Sid. Gourde becomes the new 2nd center. Tanev, Lizotte, and Bunting bring the pain from the left wing.
