There is some great spy vs spy lore in the background, but you do not play the intricate spy game - you play the few moments when they piss every day, with the sceneries getting more and more riddiculus (some rich mansion, dubai, nuclear submarine, space station etc.) but all you get is some self dialogue, maybe some phone action while you take the dump and then game fast forwards to another number one or number two the next day lol

True, I don’t think this story is real to begin with but it is meant to be assumed that the park is somewhat “in” on the cult.. as they don’t make a big deal out of kids going missing. In this fiction they probably have some kind of connection with the cult… holding on to more than what they actually know. That’s a common theme in these games.. like in the latest Woodbury Getaway, the real home owner Rick, knew more about the fake Rick living in his house than he was letting on. Park management knew more about the cult than they were letting on.

The nighttime can be dangerous in the woods, I once saw two people going at it in the forest. When the dude spotted me he made a b-line towards me like a madman, I was only able to outrun him since I think he took off his shoes so he couldn't run very fast in the trail. I'd say that's one hell of a suspicious activity.. I felt like if he caught up to me he'd straight up strangle me to death.

This is one of the few times in recent memory where I have actually been startled by a piece of media. The kind of analogue feeling to it, the mystique of the vast wood parks of the Pacific Northwest. Lit campfires in the night and 90s camper vans driving in the dusk. It all gives a feeling of a summer road trip story from like some Reddit thread which seems to be blatantly false, but you never truly know. Great stuff!
