@RockyLXXXVIII2 ай бұрын
I can’t remember what it’s called but it’s a logical fallacy where you latch onto some irrelevant mistake once you begin losing an argument. The point of the argument was “my dad was neglectful and abandoned me.” The dad proved through text message receipts and family videos/photos that he did indeed have a presence in her life, he just simply wasn’t living in the same house due to a divorce. At this point, she has already lost the argument. She made a claim, and the dad proved that said claim was objectively false. However, the dad also exaggerated her follower count, and was wrong on this point. So the daughter switches gears and instead attacks the fact the said she millions of followers. The argument is no longer about whether or not he was neglectful. But since the argument started out like that, she’s hoping that by proving he lied about her follower count, that means he loses the argument, therefore she wins, thus proving he was indeed neglectful. Basically, she lied, realized her dad had proof what she said was lies, so now she’s switching gears in an attempt to win the argument, because if she does so then less logical people will interpret it as “she won the follower count argument, therefore she is right and he is neglectful.” She’s just trying to save face after being outed as dishonest and, in a way, manipulative of her fans.

He even paid for the lease on her house and paid half for her car once she moved out. He just didn't pay for a therapist after she broke up with her boyfriend. I know I wouldn't. Not because I don't believe therapy helps, but because a break up is definitely not something that needs therapy. Also she spent way more time with her dad than I have with mine and I wouldn't call my dad a runaway. Like her dad my dad paid for child support each month and I got to see him for 4 weeks total each year. 2 weeks in the summer in Switzerland where I was born and he lives and 2 weeks in Sweden where my mother moved with us after the divorce. This dad clearly cares for his daughter. Obviously he's clearly leans a bit much on the right side politically (both sides if leaned on too much is just headache inducing imo. Both have valid problems, but the ones that lean too much sees non existing problems and think of extreme methods. Now he does not use extreme methods as far as I'm aware, but saying therapy is "woke" (a word that has lost it's meaning) is definitely a problem that isn't there. Therapy does cost too much and current education especially with how jobs work today is a total scam though.), but he has done nothing wrong when it comes to raising her. Like she said in her second response they only met once every 2 months like that's much more than I met my dad. And I still love him and my mum. It's clear that like he said her mother badmouthed him (which I don't understand. Just get a divorce and move on. You don't become enemies all of a sudden: my mum and dad still remained friends afterwards. Damn people today really uses the word trauma for anything that they didn't like growing up and for anything that makes them sad seeks therapy. What happened to seeking therapy only for deep rooted issues that won't go away with time unless you get proffesionall help. I might become a therapist cause damn I could solve these issues for them and make bank doing it.

@@TheYodelingViking You clearly have no idea what therapy is or how it works. You do not get to determine whether someone needs therapy enough or not- I really don't understand why you think it's such a bad thing for someone to reach out for help with something going on in their life. Which, by the way, break ups absolutely can be a reason for therapy and you don't need to have "deep rooted issues" to seek therapy. You seem like an old ass man stuck in the past. It doesn't do anyone good to bury issues they have and allowing it to build up and overwhelm them because there's apparently something wrong with seeking help with processing your emotions just because you think their reasoning isn't good enough. You'd be a terrible therapist if you don't even understand what trauma actually is or what it can be.

He still is a scumbag this man doesn’t love his daughter and is literally trying to use her for clout as well. I do think she should have told the 100% truth if she knew it but the thing is in her perspective it was abandonment and she was a child at the time meaning that her view on it is very VERY different from the two grown adults. We as humans also quite literally rewrite our memories when we remember things. Its suffice to say that she very well could have thought she was telling the truth.
@blame71213 ай бұрын
@@powerfullpummel6417 well you see the problem is her making it public, whether she thought it was truth or not. It is actually a very private matter that she decided to make everyone's business for no reason other than getting attention. This is really something she should have discussed with him to clear it out, to understand why he did what he did, found out his side of the story, etc. No, instead she goes "this man abandoned us in order to pursue breakdancing, also he would never pay for my medical bills". Make her own dad look like a deadbeat good-for-nothing scumbag to the public eye. Legally speaking, that's enough to sue her for defamation, public humiliation and what have you. That's what terrifies me too. She made a story time to her 70.000 followers how she has daddy issues because of an absent father who chose his breakdancing career over his kids. That's it. @devinfleenor31883 ай бұрын
@@solidway She will be ok, she has a good dad. I think in a way it humanizes both people. We are so used to seeing just the surface on social media that can be canned, packaged and marketed. Here we got a nuanced view and a reminder that families and divorces are complicated and it is possible for two people being a victim of a situation without one of them being a "bad guy". There doesn't always need to be a villian for people to have hurt feelings and trauma. Good men can fall short of their children's expectations, good women can place blame where it probably shouldn't. That doesn't mean these people are bad, that doesn't make the hurt feelings less real. It is a shame it had to be so public, but maybe people can learn from this and there is a silver lining. I agree however that those shouting about the woke mind virus on one side and those shouting about all men bad from the other side are not helping nor is this the appropriate subject to engage in culture warring. This is about family, perspective and a traumatic situation.

I've seen that many many times, actually... the dad gives a lot of money but the children aren't aware, everything "feels" provided for by the mother only and she makes sure that's the narrative, and whenever there's a financial hurdle it's "go ask your dad, if he loves you he should give you stuff, he never does anything for you so maybe about time and you see that I have no money and I always do everything blabla...". There's no consideration of where the money is going what is happening and obviously the children are not aware and it's not their fault but that's how in the end some father who are not garbage get "hated" by some of their children because of narratives created by the mother and since they're not here to defend themselves all the time well... Obviously it's not always the case, deadbeat dads exist, but it's not always as it seems...

He clearly felt she had some merit since he felt the need to defend himself even which clearly means something was off in their relationship. If he was in her life as much as he claims, she wouldn't feel that way AND she would have at least some of his personality traits. Alimony is usually paid for a limited time period. She may have had medical issues after the alimony payments had ended. Also, alimony is money meant for the ex-spouse to use, child support is what the children are supposed to get
@privateName4193 ай бұрын
@@i10i60 also you said alimony for ex-spouse and child support for children. If she's saying her dad doesn't care about her, why cant the mum tale a bit of her 15k and support them without the dad needing to send another 15k for child support? There's no excuse, that's just a spoilt kid's rambling. 15k is the equivalent of some people's 3+yrs salary(google if you think im bullshitting). And they get that per month. Even just the first 3yrs is enough to make the mom and kids self sufficient if well planned. But nah....they got a human piggy bank.
@i10i603 ай бұрын
@privateName419 Heads up for people who don't understand that alimony and child support structures vary among states, times, and individual cases. Whatever deductions you came up with may be wildly off. Again, Alimony is paid for a limited time. We don't know if the mother was still receiving any payments from the father at the time the daughter claims she had these medical issues. Why are we blindly believing the father and dunking on the daughter when neither have provided evidence for any claims? You don't even know if the father paid the mother any amount. You also don't know if the mother spent the money she received on her children. The mother may have been withholding the money.
@Broken.3 ай бұрын
@@i10i60 He said he paid a total of 5 Million. Which if true is enough for her and her mom to not work for life. Most people who say their dad left them mean 1st that their dad is far away sometimes even in an entirely different country and 2nd that they receive no money from them. What's the point of a dad who sends you happy birthdays without a single gift. At least her dad sent a t-shirt birthday gift or not. They are also set for life thanks to him. That's more then what the average dad does for his family and she can still complain. In the response she said she doesn't know the financial situation and doesn't refute it. Meaning it's likely true.
