I believe some of these are "genuine" so far as the people recording and uploading are aware. If you're chilling in an abandoned building (or, idk, maybe you're homeless and your government has failed you so the only place you can seek shelter is in an old, mouldy, destroyed building) and some people walk in with cameras, causing noise and disturbance, it would be very easy to make it seem like the place is haunted and they're about to die. Drop a metal bar, make an inhuman sound, aggressively shake doors etc and they'll quickly run out. This is especially the case if you're living in one of these abandoned buildings, and homeless people living there is genuinely the only reason those places are scary in case the person is also deranged.
