I don’t believe in most conspiracies but I also don’t believe in most “official stories” without obviously undeniable proof, I believe the moon landing happened but I don’t really know if the official JFK assassination story is true, maybe it was LBG, maybe the CIA, maybe it was Oswald, but that is something for example that I admit to not knowing or believing in and I move on in my day.

I work in the British Army, Royal Engineers. During phase 2 training, part of it was learning about trenching. Digging a 1.7 metre deep, 5 metre long and roughly 0.5 metre wide trench took the better part of an afternoon. Keep in mind this was with around 10 people all working on it, switching in and out, etc. When I saw the videos of just two men excavating vast volumes of ground with the bare minimum of tools, I immediately called bullshit. Sometimes you don't need video evidence, tracks, or stuff like that. Just go and dig a hole yourself.
@VeteranVandal2 жыл бұрын
And you used modern equipment to do it. They would take at least 10 times it took your 10 people to do the same work doing it morning and afternoon and that doesn't take into account food of any kind. Digging is hard af and the amount of calories and tools breaking under primitive conditions would slow everything down slightly still. So, yea, if you ever dug without machines you know how much faster they are. It's stupid how much faster they are.

And by the way, cement (a core component of concrete) is made from limestone and clay. Clay is a rather common soil type (not that the stuff he was digging up from the river seemed like clay...), but just clay is not enough to make cement, let alone concrete. Interestingly you can build somewhat permanent housing out of clay. Early civilizations did so a LOT. Primitive Technology also makes some great stuff out of clay. But yeah, I saw like one of those fake channels, I believe it was some video where they made a pool, and I instantly blocked it and decided one "life of primitive humans" channel was enough for me.

@9:24 - concrete is a mix of aggregate (sand and gravel) with a binder (cement). Cement is actually pretty difficult to make in large quantities, because it's typically slaked lime (calcium hydroxide), which is made by burning and wetting limestone or sail/mollusk shells. You can also get very small amounds of it from the ashes of burnt smallbrush, but it's very innefficient because you have to burn it twice.
@bitskit34762 жыл бұрын
Tbh, you'd have a lot better luck trying to make a buildimg out of adobe than fired bricks and just using the same mixture minus the straw as your mortar.
@TheIT2215 ай бұрын
I heard that there are companies in China which have emptied Indian beaches to make it, and while this could be completely made up, it alone suggests how concrete is becoming harder and harder to make from the rarity of sand Is this a thing? Is the sand needed for concrete being used up?

To the people who think that digging a 10 ft hole is possible in a few hours with sticks and bare hands should try it, you'll find yourself giving up before even reaching 5 feet by the end of the day. 😂
@alewis5142 жыл бұрын
if it was easy to dig 10 ft hole then serial killers would dig 30 ft holes and they'd never find the bodies. But it's not easy. They usually give up and settle for 3-4 footer makeshift grave which is easily detected by dogs. I mean, they are pretty determined to not get caught right? So why they dig so shallow graves? It's because it's fucking hard to do without mechanical tools. If you tried to dig a hole you propably realize that sooner or later you hit a rock. Then a bigger rock. Then even bigger rock. Eventually you are running into rocks that are 2 feet in diameter and weigh about as much as yourself. You're not getting past that without tools.

9:10 You can, kind of! Cob is a mixture of sand, clay and straw (basically adobe with a different consistency) that's a pretty good insulator and can be molded into shapes (search 'cob house' for some YT examples). But in the end it's still basically mud, so 1. you need to coat it with plaster or it'll crumble after the first rain, and 2. it can't withstand a lot of weight so most of the larger structures you see in the fake channels would be a no go
@jonweman6128 Жыл бұрын
Poor people build their houses like that in the rural Andes without plaster or anything. That's a dry climate nothing like the SEA jungle where this is built (never mind using it for a pool FILLED WITH WATER), and it still doesn't last as long as a brick house. There are also mud constructions in places like Mali and Iran that have stood over 1000 years, I don't know what additional steps they used, but those are also very dry places.

Anyone who has had to dig holes in or near forests would know instantly that was fake without any other evidence required. What happens is that you hit large rocks and roots every few inches which forces you to stop and hack away at the roots or dig around the rock and drag it out. Sometimes it is a very large rock and it is a massive pain to get it out. What is even worse is when there are roots entangled into large rocks and it is just a nightmare. Most of Charlie's viewers come from other countries like the Philippines. They loooove their primitive building channels and yes they are the kind of people who also believe everything they see and hear online. Remember all those dumb videos where people would put some animal in a hole, then pretend like pouring stuff into it attracted the animal so they can grab it with their hands and pull it out??? That kind of content was extremely viral for a long time despite being sooo blatantly fake and stupid. Doesn't matter though certain demographics eat that stuff up and if you so much as call it fake, like charlie did, they'll get really triggered.

I knew those videos were fake because some of those videos claimed that they were doing these projects in California... even though they are clearly in a jungle/rainforest. For those who might not know, there are no jungles in California. Southern California is dry as a bone, Central California is flat grassland and Northern California is temperate forest.

But my immediate question was wondering why anyone was doing this and what they did with what they built after completion. Lo and behold, I was right in assuming they just build these worthless, pointless pools and then just… leave them out there in the wilderness to wither away and be retaken by nature.
