To any new players, do not underestimate the value of levelling up Capacity. It’s probably one of the most powerful skills. You can wear several legendary amulets, wear heavy armours/defensive parts, heavy weapons etc. all the while maintaining low capacity weight for quicker dodge rolls. Very strong skill. Love this game.

I finally said f it in like chapter 8 and farmed like 10 side levels for stamina and capacity because I was tired of moving like P weights 300 pounds. That was at slightly heavy btw.

You can get a bunch of damage for Phase 2 Laxasia at the start with a line of acid and standing in front of it. The lightning balls will push you back into it and if you got her timing down you can take almost half her entire health bar. If your name is Ongbal you can 2/3 of her health bar lol its absolutely nuts

lol no, if you played it like souls rolling then maybe, but if you played like the game wanted you to, parrying and using some consumables, the game was easy as fuck even before nerfs, and after nerfs it's probably the easiest souls like out there. Amazing game with top story and design, but difficulty, not so much

I'm honestly in awe at how easily Charlie beat this. Maybe I just suck but all three of those last fights had me screaming in anger at how BS they seemed. Ashamed to admit the nameless puppet made me uninstall. Worked so hard to beat Laxasia and Manus, I was too mentally drained to beat the puppet and I refused to lose my true ending

Same, he beat them so fast. Truly a gamer. The only boss that really made want to stop was Manus as it took me like 10 hours to beat. That second part of the fight is so obnoxious. Laxasia took me a lot of time but felt good to fight her for me at least. Funny thing is that Nameless puppet was the easiest for me only 3 tries.😅

This is what happens when you go for weapons you know are broken, he definitely has some skill from playing other souls-likes but his weapons do half the work Don't let this make you feel like you are bad at the game, just keep practicing or try a different weapon/approach, or maybe take some time off the game if you feel frustrated

There's a whole list of things I don't like about his playthrough. Just to get my frustration out, I'll name a few. 1. Skipping the dialog because you read fast is one thing. He skips crucial parts of the story. For example, he didn't even realize Alidoro was an imposter and wouldn't have even killed him without chat. 2. I can understand not going in completely blind. Looking at guides is all fine and good but maybe try to do some of it on your own. Again, chat literally walked him through everything he needed to do. Even then it came off as a chore to him and he still ignored chat half the time. 3. Sprinting through areas and skipping enemies, some of which would have been challenging. For example the enemy he tried to run around and fell off the map multiple times while trying to get his ergo back. Like at that point just fight the thing. 4. Not really his fault. However playing on this patch removes alot of the challenge this game presented upon release. I decided to replay it along side him and I gotta say the nerfs feel substantial. Some of the bosses are still extremely challenging but many aren't. So what's he even playing for? To get used to it before he goes for a speed run attempt. He's not playing for the challenge or the story. He's just gunning for completion. That being said, he can play it however he wants. Whatever fits his enjoyment the most. Just felt like he did himself a disservice. It's such a great game.

Beat it yesterday. Its fine, its not the bloodborne PC replacement some were hoping for but it plays alright. The story was a bit Embarrassing at times because its hard to make a fairy tale really serious and edgy without it coming off as goofy sometimes but by the ending I could forgive it. My favorite part was when I figured out you could Max Legion, Max out the Falcon Eye arm and play the whole game as a 3rd person shooter.
