Buy 6-8 silver man bands, keep them in a drawer by the bedside {for replacement when he loses them} and call it a day. No need to spend more than 50$ a pop if he loses them all the time... the tattoo is the best solution really. I do support the wife getting a very nice present for every band lost!

On our Honeymoon 5 years ago, we went to Key West and my husband bought this $20.00 plain silver ring. He wears this ring way more often than the official wedding ring. If he lost the ring it would be OK because it was just $20.00. haha

I love you guys. I would have just gone with a cheap silicone ring though. I just got my husband one for our anniversary but that was mainly because I was getting mad that his kept getting messed up/deformed from being a Marine and a volunteer firefighter.

My dad is a farmer and welder and just constantly doing too much with his hands to where it’s actually dangerous for him to wear his so I just bought him a bunch of the silicone bands that will rip right through if they get caught on something and he can just go to the drawer and get another one.

Friend would take his ring for golf. Could not remember where it was lost after round. Lost for years. Lost until they moved. Rolls out of the couch during the move. The ring must have fallen out of his pocket while taking an after round nap.

Me and my husband both have engagement tings and wedding rings. I'm from Sweden and my husband from Ireland, so they do the same as you in the US, the woman get the engagement ring and then both have wedding rings, and in Sweden they both have engagement rings, so we compromised. We got engagement rings when we we're in Sweden and then we got wedding rings in Ireland. It's a bit funny because the gold in Sweden is 18 carat and 24 carat and the gold in Ireland is 9 carat or 18 carat and it's also more expensive. So the Swedish engagement rings we ended up with are red gold and the Irish rings are rose gold so a slight difference in the color, but you know what they are our rings and we love them. Now after 16 years together and 5 years married i'm waiting for a gold ring with Sapphires and Diamonds a so called eternity ring and he said i get one some day. I can't use silver due to allergy ( no seriously i'm not kidding ) but i'm sure i get one some day in the future. Love your videos they are so much fun and they spread so much joy. Also this would be helpful if you husband needs the permanent marker wrote in like a backpack but on a ring! I think you need to change the importance of the ring (not the meaning). I wear my grandfather's ring w/a stone in it from wife's grandmother's jewelry. Incredibly important heirloom. My daughters already fighting over who gets it when I croak. (This is how your kids are nice to you when they are in their 20s.)
