When I was a kid, I had just finished reading Prisoner of Azkaban and I had a nightmare about Dementors coming and attacking my house. I woke up and rolled over, and there was one standing at the head of my bed, just staring at the wall. I was so petrified that I lay there for about 3 hours, not moving, and not making a sound (cause I knew that if I made a sound, it would turn and look at me). As the sun started to come up, I was able to see that it was a robe hanging over some bags that I had hung on the corner of my headboard. Looking back, I'm amazed that the rational thought did not occur to me in all the time I was laying there staring at it. All I remember was that my mind was just a blank wall of terror.

My ghost story is this: When I used to work at a mountain biking centre, I saw, as clear as day, a tall male figure with dark brown hair, a blue cycling top, black cycling shorts and a camelbak, coming into the centre. I was kneeling at one of the shelves in the centre, doing some cleaning, and looked up to ask if I could help them with something. But when I looked up, there was no one there. I took a good, long look around, trying to find something that could have explained it - some patch of blue or something that could have looked like a person from a weird angle, but there was nothing at all that matched up. A good time later - probably months, maybe even a year - I saw the same figure again, in a completely different part of the building, while I was sat at the reception desk. Again, I looked up to ask if I could help them, but there was no one there and nothing I could see that could have been mistaken for a person. It's unfortunate, but I do think there have been some deaths over the many years of the centre's existence. I don't have any details of the people who may have passed away while on one of the trails, but I utterly believe that I saw a ghost.

When my mom was a kid, she went to the dentist office, and she was sitting in front of a window facing another building, and as they were working on her teeth, she saw a doctor with a lab coat in the window of the other building staring at her, and he waved. The building was old and rusty, so she asked the dentists before she left if there is a doctors office over there, and they said no one has been in that building in years. They said it used to be a doctors office but then it got shut down and hasnt opened since. And... the doctor who owned it died. But one more thing, they also said... that the room that the guy was looking at her from the building window, was the owner/doctor's office. She still says that she thinks it was the doctors ghost. Scary

Penn's Ghost experience was 100% sleep paralysis. The old hag breathing over you is a common sight during sleep paralysis. Sorry Penn, not a ghost :(

No scary moments but what might be a paranormal moment, at New Years in 2019 I was grumpy, I didn’t want the year to change, but I couldn’t say , I just didn’t. Mom tried to cheer me up, but it didn’t work. Then there was covid, and confusion and chaos, it’s like I predicted the future… weeeeiiiirrrrdddd
