Penn trying to sleep is the funniest thing 😆 I'm a stomach sleeper as well, so I had a difficult time adjusting to sleeping on my side. And then the tossing and turning to try and get comfortable took twice as long, on top of trying not to wake your husband up lol the terrible breathing, and then the constant urge to pee. Omg, pregnancy is great 😄

Lol true she should have worked up to it. Like made him nauseous 24/7 and throw up every day and too tired to even move for a few months. Then pumped him with hormones so he cries then laughs then cries then snaps 😂 then add chronic insomnia and back/leg pain. (Only joking of course before some people get triggered!) You adapt to your new way of living and the empathy belly can only show you so much. But I love that he did it. They should do an after effects one where he has wider hips and pees when he laughs 😂

Pregnancy was hellish for me! All 9 months worth. I never had but 1 because of that! I doubt you could EVER do anything, externally, to truly demonstrate what pregnancy does to your body, mind, soul , psyche or overall life. #menwillneverknow 🙄

can I just say that as someone who as struggled with weight for my whole life since puberty, a lot of those frustrations are daily struggles without ever being pregnant. i tie my shoes cross legged. i use the leg out counter balance when i pick things up. i often roll out of bed instead of sit up. i use my belly as a table. while I've lost 40 lbs in the past 6 months, these problems are better, but they're still there. I look forward to someday finding my prince and hopefully the joys of motherhood, but i really don't look forward to having to relive fat problems while pregnant.

Perpetual nausea and heartburn...I have that every day. And I've never been pregnant. I've been chaste all my life by choice because I'm hypersensitive. I have no desire to get it on. BTW, that time of month was hell. It felt like the chaste woman's equivalent of labor pains! (Not that menopause feels good, but I don't miss monthly torture.)

I wore an empathy belly for a high school class. It was laboring for my breath at first but I adjusted. I actually loved it, but others pointed out that I didn't have to deal with morning sickness or childbirth. The only rough thing about it was a) Kids punched my stomach to tease me and b) zipping my pants up and drinking from the water fountain.

I carried my triplets until 34 weeks. I was on bedrest for 14 weeks. I felt like I needed a wheelbarrow to carry them. I am 5 ft 1 inch tall. I think that the empathy belly is awesome. I think daddies should wear it once per month with the corresponding weight that the mommy is carrying. One thing that Penn didn't do was eat. I was always hungry and too full at the same time. Oh, and I measured 40 weeks in size starting at 20 weeks. So like Penn was but for the 14 weeks. Thanks for the laughs!!
