Ohh Mike.........all these Penn Internationals in the world BUT none in my little bit of World. How is this little old Ozzie fisherman going to add one to his Penn Collection (GT 340, Squall 50LW and old 70s' Penn 285s'). You gotta add one to my collection before I run outta fishing days!!?? It says usa made but with imported parts? Can anyone clarify this?

They’re made in the us but some of the parts are imported from other countries

On PENN's USA models, all parts that are "reel parts", such as gears, sideplates, handles, etc are made here. Parts that are "standardized machine parts" such as screws, springs, ball bearings etc are purchased from Industrial Suppliers, and may be from a variety of places.
