Exactly my thought. It's not even 250. There are 3 maybe 4 10kg plates on each side. They're all green so it gives either 176 or 220 lbs with the bar included. Nothing special...
@benchgoblin4 ай бұрын
the plates don’t say 10, anywhere, and we don’t use kilogram plates here in the US. The plates *do* say 45lbs, which is close to 20kgs. The bar weight is 315lbs, whoever wrote the caption of 380lbs is clueless

No I see a 10 on the side of the plate no 45.
@ah70273 жыл бұрын
@@Matt-lp2bs olympic plates come in every increment from 2.5kg-25kg. There also color coded. 2.5s are red, 5kgs are white, 10kgs are green, 15kgs are yellow, 20kgs are blue which is what is in the video and 25kgs are red. so hes doing 3 blue plates which comes out to 315lbs considering there actually 45lb plates and not 20kg plates. for a lot of people they lift more with a power clean than a full clean due to lack of technique. Its actually much easier to learn and execute a power clean than it is to clean the weight due to the mobility demand of a front squat.
