@4:20 he puts the ring into his pocket and he 'palms' finger the paper with the Panda on it and the way out of the pocket. That's why he puts the ring into his pocket and not the table and takes the 'orig' paper from Brooke. Would be interesting though if he had a way to know from the 3 choices if a bottle did have a Panda paper on it. As the falling rings were random - he would have had a one in three chance of Brooke getting it right! Then that might have fooled Penn and Teller as he wouldn't have had to do anything with the ring after all.

Great performance. Didn't even make feel like watching for any moves, I was entertained and distracted all the way through!!! One question: Is it possible for the audience member (in this case, Brook) to open the paper? If yes, you could probably instruct them saying 'don't unfold it yet' and walk them through dramatic unfolding.

They have the host wear the same outfit all through the season, so if they need to edit different acts into the same video, there are no 'continuity' issues, and it all appears to have come from the same episode.

@ericsimonson So you haven't noticed that Penn & Teller are always wearing same suits? While it's same looking clothes, they do have 2nd ones. All episodes are recorded in 1 week, but acts aren't all recorded in same way as we see them. As you perhaps haven't seen full episodes, some things: There's usually only 1, occasionally 2, Foolers each episode, & the total time of the acts have to fit into the program time, & neither happens as neatly as that. So if there's 2 or 3 Foolers in (equivalent of) 1 program, or the several acts time don't add up to the episode(s) time, they swap video of acts into other eps.

@@S_Drake Hilarious people only ever comment/ed about Brooke's outfit & Alison's outfits for each season being same But no one ever commented about Johnathon's always being same when he hosted first 2 seasons. Nor has anyway ever commented about Penn & Teller's suits always same (except for people saying so, in reply to comments like eric's). Of course Penn & Teller would have more than 1 suit of same style, so why wouldn't Brooke. Also if that's a jumper, how come I don't look amazing in my woolly one lol. As many have explained elsewhere, it's for editing and continuity purposes. Probably multiples of the same outfit o cover laundering, accidents etc. Was the same with Alyson.

I think you're reading too much into that. Penn was insinuating that the fooler "bribed" the wrong person. That might even have been a part of his code to let Ari know that he understood part of his trick. She was playing along, not knowing what if anything Penn was getting at, asking if they wanted it (maybe thinking they wanted to examine it or something) so he was only really dismissing the idea that he actually wanted the panda while continuing to play along with his own code by politely thanking her for being so "kind" as to give up her "prize."

Does the host EVER change clothes? I've now seen 7 episodes, and she's in the exact same outfit every single time. Eww. Maybe she can't get back out of them..who knows.. at least Allison changed clothes.

They film the whole thing in one or two days, so the host always wears the same attire on purpose (can't have her change outfit every time a new magician comes on stage, they'd be there forever).
