I am 45 and grew up a comic book geek. I remember being laughed at in the 80s and 90s wearing Batman, Superman, Flash, etc. shirts. Back then you could only buy them in comic book stores. It is incredible how everyone has that merchandise everywhere. In a few years, those of us still wearing them with be dorks, but we wear them because we are the people who try appreciate the genre, not because it is the "in thing."
