The obvious dedication of John Logan and the entire team to the detail is really impressive. When this much work goes into production, you know it's going to be a fantastic series. Very excited.

Looking forward to this new series. The world of Victorian London is so interesting and to see it brought to life based on some of its most famous lurid Gothic tales is really cool =D

You guys are creating something incredible here, and thank you for that! It would be great to be a part of something that beautiful. I do have a small remark about this part..you know that Grand Guignol didn't exist in London until 1920s, when Jose Levy decided to "bring" it there from France? I am an academic researcher in Grand Guignol and European horror film, so no fear, it's a valid argument ;) Nevertheless, I am glad that you made Grand Guignol a part of Penny Dreadful.

Lovely, but if you *really* want to see a recreation of Le Grand Guignol, Dante Ferretti pretty much rebuilt it as "The Theatre des Vampires" in 1994's "Interview with the Vampire."

The London version didn't last as long as the original Paris version, but would have loved to have attended both.
