This is so wonderful, and we're been waiting for it for quite some while, but it's finally here! After a series of podcasts, a few off-shoots from those podcasts, then the increasingly grandiose live shows of PAX Prime to the laid back and relax "unplugged" sessions of PAX East the magic of Acquisitions Inc. is getting getting its own dedicated web-series! It looks fantastic, from the chemistry between Mike, Jerry, Scott and now Patrick to the lovely level of planning and delivery Chris Perkins brings to every table he masters... and, of course, the always welcome inculcation of poop and fart jokes from the whole crew to help move things along. I've been waiting for something like this ever since you guys did the very first set of podcasts that re-introduced me into 4E (and got me back into D&D in general) and I've been looking forward to a proper series like this ever since. That it's finally happening has me overjoyed. Here's to even greater (and sillier) adventures!

I'm a relatively new fan of Acquisitions Inc but I am so glad to finally have a more common series to watch of them, instead of waiting for PAX

Its a good listen if you ever have something monotonous to do you can sit down for. They're alot of fun to listen to, especially the banter. The original DM before Chris Perkins has some troubles with the group, but once things get going it's great.

Coming back to this series on the back of EXU: Calamity, and I have to say, the deep, deep dives into lore and roleplay are amazing and I love that and honestly prefer that as a player myself. However, Chris' dm-ing style in this game of just giving overviews and whatnot, though not as engaging as roleplay can be, is really neat from a story trelling perspective because they all know they have to get to a certain point and everything else is fluff. The planning and the execution of their plan in this series is the only thing that's important and that's when Chris engages in dialogue as the characters. It's really a masterful execution in short-form campaigns a DM must get through in around 8-12 hours.

Oh man, The Rod of Seven Parts was one of my fav artifacts from earlier versions of D&D. Glad to see the lore has remained the same more or less, with the Arch Dukes and Miska et al. I've always wanted to run one of those campaigns at some point. Fun Fact: In the original early versions, it wasn't always seven. While it was named as such, the description text would mention that it was sometimes found in different numbers.

Amazing PA! This is the AI I've been waiting for. Such a huge fan. Would love to see some short animation clips, (similar to the intro) synced with the audio of the session throughout the episode. Especially with some of the battles. Much like earlier PAX intros doing the recaps of earlier seasons. Totally understand the amount of work required to make that happen and completely understand if we don't see that right away. So wanted to plug that into your creative geniuses even though I'm sure someones already thought of it over there. Keep up the great work! Can't wait till next week.
