Thanks so much for the review, Max! Oddly enough, I used to include the 1/4 grain “gold cards” in the grab bags. As always I appreciate your critiques and advice. What crazy timing that eBay just changed their policy! I feel as though my description was pretty straightforward, but the name “grab bag” probably disqualified it. I’ll get them up again though. Glad you like the British Mandate coins! I knew you were a collector and I had set a few aside with the intention to eventually send them to you. And I just happened to find the silver one at the coin shop right before I sent this. Thanks again and be well!

@@upnorthcoins they no longer allow "mystery items". So, the term grab bag got my listings pulled even though I list what is in them in the description.

I like your videos but discarding all non-silver world coins as junk does kinda rub me the wrong way. Silver isn't everything, especially when you still decide to put a value on common US pennies. I understand it may not be your area of expertise, but it takes less than a minute to look up the values of these foreign coins, especially when there are so few. Hope you find some nice rare ones in the future!

They sell those by the pound, it’s not like they are old, they are mass produced and in circulation. Of course he wouldn’t individually search of the value of each coin

*Spot on mate. I do collect foreign coins and they are amazing on their own historic value. Not to mention that some foreign coins are pretty hard and expensive to get.*

@@CoineeJake Most of these are not still in circulation. The US is one of very few countries to still actively use their old currency, and even though they are mass produced, US coins are even more mass produced, so they are usually more rare than most US coins by default. If he can put a value on the pennies in bulk, he can easily do it for the others too. There were some mint state coins in there that were definitely worth more than all those pennies combined, bumping the value of the whole package up to over 60 dollars.

I collect Weimar Republic notgeld banknotes. I promote the fact that they are such an easy collection to do because they are so cheap. You are absolutely correct in saying that is beautiful money. At least you got water damage. One package I got was dropped in a bucket of paint.

Heya! I had a question, is keeping your coins in Polyethylene-Low Density ziplock bags safe for a long period of time? will it react like PVC?

I’m still there! My grab bags actually got pulled last week due to new policy. They don’t allow any “chance” items. Meaning you can’t sell mystery grab bags and stuff like that. I feel as though I was very clear in my description, but I’m going to have to make new listings with absolutely clear wording.

He’s clearly a buyer in whatnot and knows silver picker😂! The 1g valcambi bars gave that away…. He’s obviously trying to sell what he’s lost on whatnot. And the fact that this wasn’t anonymous makes me feel like he’s padded your grab bag. Whatnot is so highly inflated with every seller. STAY AWAY!

i've had some good deals on EBAY and i've had some fair deals on EBAY ... but i RARELY get ripped off .... you have to read the ENTIRE ad to know what your getting !! .... (having said that) ... GRAB BAGS ARE THE WORST RIP OFFS ON THE PLANET !! ... your paying for something & you don't know what your getting
