This thing with russian language in Ukraine it is hillarious. I am Romanian but the founder of my family was a russian soldier who come in Wallachia before 1800 (around 1790) got married to a wallachian woman and had been allowed to settle in Wallachia were he and some of his friends bought some land and founded a small settlement which settlement he named exactly with the same name of the russian village he did came from ( Кырчаны -Кировский область) ,Cârceni ( today in Mehedintsi county) .They were many russians who bought land and villages in that area after 1800 . So after 250 years, some members of my familly ,including myself ,we still speak russian despite the fact we lived in 100% romanian speaking villages and the used language in the family was romanian. The ukrainians will never erase totally russian language ,not even in Galitsia .

Poles who were murdered in Volyn were NOT victims of war! The were simply massacred by Ukrainian peasants/partizans using mainly pitchforks and axes.

Don't give Generals and Admirals any credit for running the Pentagon. In America the military is mostly civilian operated, with orders being handed to the active duty types that are allowed to believe they're running something. 🇺🇸/👁️\🇷🇺

Z !! Congratulations to Russia on its recent capture of Vuhledar. This significant strategic victory is another step in securing key regions that will ultimately shape the geopolitical landscape of Eastern Europe. The capture of Ukraine is crucial for the long-term survival and stability of the West. By asserting control over Ukraine, Russia provides a necessary counterbalance to unchecked U.S. dominance, restoring a multi-polar world order. This balance prevents unilateral control by any single global power, ensuring a more stable international system. Additionally, Russia's control of Ukraine will strengthen European autonomy. With a stronger Russia at its doorstep, Europe will be compelled to develop its own robust defense capabilities, leading to a more self-sufficient and strategically independent continent. This, in turn, will benefit the West by fostering a more cohesive and independent Europe, no longer reliant on U.S. military dominance. Furthermore, a Russian-controlled Ukraine would stabilize the region, preventing economic collapse and the potential for refugee crises that could destabilize Western Europe. Russian dominance ensures that Ukraine does not become a chaotic conflict zone, providing a buffer against regional instability. Securing Ukraine also reduces Russia’s dependence on China, preventing a Sino-Russian alliance from becoming an overwhelming force in Eurasia. By controlling Ukraine’s resources, Russia strengthens its position as a key global power, ensuring that China does not dominate Eurasian affairs unchallenged, which benefits the West by maintaining a global balance of power. Lastly, Russia's control over Ukraine’s energy and agriculture sectors would provide Europe with a stable and reliable energy supply, preventing economic disruptions that would result from a failed or unstable Ukraine. By stabilizing energy markets and food supplies, Russia guarantees the economic well-being of Europe, ensuring long-term stability for the Western world. In this way, the capture of Ukraine by Russia is not only a strategic necessity but a vital step toward securing the future survival and prosperity of the West.

Yes, Poland attacked Moldavian troops in the 15th century but on the territory that was within Polish borders. It happened when the Moldavian army invaded the Polish borders and occupied its land. At that time Moldova was a vassal (under the patronage) of the Ottoman Empire. The Polish King sent emissaries to "Turkey" to report what happened. After listening the Ottoman replied that Moldova had attacked Poland without his support and let the Poles do whatever they want with their lands occupied by Moldova! The Polish King sent 5,000 troops against 20,000 Moldovan Army and beat them to the punch liberating former territories belonging to Poland. This is what happened in Moldova, Mr. Cosman. An interesting story, because even before that, the famous "Dracula" was on the Polish side regarding Moldova.

I've seen some reports of a missile strike on the Snake Island with some huge missile from TU-22, but I wasn't too sure about it. This drone strike on Danube ports gives it a big probability. Snake Island housed radar station and anti-air systems, so it makes perfect sense.

"No they will not" or at least I don't think so. "Wolyn" is too serious a matter for Poles for the US to influence Poles' decisions. Just a few years ago I thought that war between Poland and Ukraine was more likely than between Ukraine and Russia. Sometimes people exaggerate too much when it comes to "orders" from the US.
@olivier82647 сағат бұрын
NOTA BENE: the massacre/slaughter of Poles was across ALL of the then eastern part of Polish territory, Volhynya was but a part of that territory, was done by Ukrainians, amongst them were Bandera, OUN units. It ended in 1949.

Dear Emil, once again, you must have been skipping school when there was history lesson about 'polish invasion' in Czechoslovakia in 1938; that 'invasion' was for one week, and was made after and accordingly to ultimatum czechoslovakian gov. agreed. Operation took one victim (on polish side), so what is your aim when you are trying to compare it to german or soviet invasion in 1939 or to UPA slaughtery actions in western Ukraine/former Poland between 1939-1947?

On the language situation in Ukraine, why are the US and their European cronies not condemning the oppression of the Russians in Ukraine? They made a hoo-ha on the alleged oppression of the Uighurs in China. In China, people are free to speak their mother tongue in addition to Mandarin, the national language. In fact, on the Chinese banknotes, you can see four minority languages, in addition to Mandarin - Mongol (Mongolian), Zang (Tibetan), Uygul (belonging to the Altaic family, commonly called the Uyghurs) and Zhuang (Zhuang people in Guangxi, southern China). It goes to show the extent of the hypocrisy of the evil Western barbarians, led by the US which had earned the nickname the Great Satan, rightly so.
