The Intellichem alone is really not much more than a salt system. Intellichem can be used to control a liquid chlorine tank + acid tank or a salt system + acid tank. The Liquid Chlorine only Intellichem setups use much less acid by the way. You can even add PH control with CO2 tanks (carbon dioxide) to eliminate the use of acid.

We have this same exact system. I need to replace our electrodes. I think the pool closers left them out all winter. I know very little about pools. I have the new electrodes, do you have any pointers on replacing them? Also, our heater is hooked up to propane and is not staying on? I just turned it on 10 minutes ago and the water was 69 degrees, I just looked at my phone and it says the water is 78 degrees? Any guidance is appreciated.
