Is there a reason you used different T-pipes for connecting in the water in/out versus the acid and chlorine injection? Also, did you just use connectors provided in the Intellichem kit, or did you use additional parts?

If connecting to the Eero Max 7, you do indeed need to create a "Guest Network" to connect, at least I did. The light on the iaqualink app took a few minutes to turn from red to green so I didn't think it worked at first. Once you connect through the "Guest Network" and the light in the app is green, you can switch your phone or tablet (whatever you're using to control the iaqualink app) back to your Primary Network and the app stays connected. I also enabled the "iAqualink" skill in Alexa. That actually took almost 24 hours for everything to propogate.. but all of my pool equipment now shows as a device in the alexa app. It's awesome to be able to turn on everything with voice commands... waterfall, jets, fountain, aux lighting, etc. 😎

My intellichem keeps going into alarm for no flow but everything is running fine with the filter

Great video. In your opinion, what does this system mean when it's on Alarm red light and it screen says no flow detected? but everything actually is flowing and working.

Thanks for your help. I ended up having to reset the entire pool system because Iaqua wasn't responding. Once I did that I was able to follow your instructions and get it all set up on the new router. You're the man.

Make sure to pause your VPN on your phone if you're getting connection errors. That fixed my connection issue. Once the initial connection is made you can turn your VPN back on with no issues.

Used the same procedure for my aqualink 2.0, but I had to setup a guest connection for the new eero setup. It’s the only way that it connected quickly. Thanks for the help on here.

If you connect Intelichem to Intellicenter controls or Screen logic it has a pretty seet and modern display right on the phone and the touch screen.

Do you have iAqualink 2.0? Maybe the Antennae was wired up wrong. You may want to call a local pool repair company that has experience repairing these. If your in Orange County, CA give us a call. You may also reach out to Zodiac / Fluidra the manufacturer at 800-227-1442

Our float (white cylinder) can move freely but doesn't stay up at the top. Yet, the flow alarm only came on twice. I can replace it but I'd like to understand.

It sounds like you may need to increase the flow. You could possibly have a clogged pool filter, clogged filter on the intellichem. It could also be that you may need to raise the RPM on the pump if you have a variable speed pump. You may want to reach out to Pentair tech support or a Pentair dealer that knows the Intellichem well.

Where do you hook up the com wire? What color goes where? How did you program the aqualink?

An issue that some new routers are facing is that they will no longer connect to the iAqualink 2. After much frustration I discovered that if I enable the roaming feature on my new mesh router system connection fails. Disable this router function and once again there is connectivity. After consulting with Jandy, I was told I would need to upgrade to the the iAqualink 3 to eliminate this problem. A rather expensive solution, I tried to piggyback my old router onto my new system with a specific mac filter to allow this single device access. Although it worked, it created frustrating reliability. I finally bit the bullet and directly ran ethernet cable, completely bypassing the WiFi capability. Jandy pricing has become completely ridiculous.

On this job- to sync the pool and spa lights we wired the pool and spa light to the same power wire. With this device, if you want the pool and spa light to be independent you will need to of the color LED controllers. Also, there is a new model controller from Pentair. The new one has the ability to control the lights from your phone also. Link below to the new device and the app it uses. The limit in the iAqualink is 104 degrees Fahrenheit. You can limit the temperature directly on the heater display itself if needed.

I believe this is the part number you are looking for, 606000100Z. It is listed as "Fitting 3/8” Tube x 1/4” NPT" in the Pentair parts list. You should be able to find it online or at a pool supply store. how do you control the Calcium hardness when using salt systems?

The salt system should be cleaned out as needed. Usually 2 times per year is good. If you have high calcium hardness in your pool, you may need to clean it more frequently or consider draining the pool and then filling it with fresh tap water that should have a much lower calcium hardness level than pool water that is several years old. Old pool water usually has high calcium hardness as the pure H2O evaporates but the calcium hardness stays behind in the pool of water.
