This song is so underrated - I wish they had it in the playlist for this year's tours! That's about Kirstin's natural hair color - she's Latina. Kirstin and Mitch can cover each other's voices pretty exactly.

Cosmo Sheldrake ( yeah, I know...what a name!) wrote the original which, while interesting, wasn't nearly as fun and peppy as PTX's rendition. I'm wondering if they used a picardy third in the last few chords.

My youngest birth daughter and her hubby had identical twin boys 9 months ago and their names are Cosmo and Clyde. I had honestly not heard the name other than the dog in the Jetsons so I am happy to hear of another Cosmo. ❤

Another great example of them showing some bits of opera is Aha! Live at the Star Vista. Look for the one with the most views. Mitch Slapping of epic proportions will be waiting for you as well.

At the start of that video, it's a religious piece, Christus Factus Est, not opera.

Cosmo Sheldrake, the singer/songwriter, left a comment on the video thanking PTX for covering his song. Classy move! If you want to hear Mitch and Kirstie really sounding similar, try Let It Go (yes, the song from Frozen). They split the lead between them. There's no official video, so there are no visual cues, and you have to really know their voices to be able to tell who's singing the lead at what time.

Kirstie has lots of wigs, but black is her original hair color, as a Latina. I wouldn't call it operatic, I spent my college years around (but not in) operas, and it ain't even close. The song, pre-Pentatonix, was popular in Europe more than America.
