Pentatonix - I Just Called to Say I Love You is REMARKABLE!

Not really a Christmas song but they did have it on their Evergreen Christmas album which is nominated for their 4th Grammy. This was just coming out of the pandemic and how we kept in touch / communicated with people we care about while being separated. Those extra people are just actors to show loved ones communicating ❤️

Great reaction. I thought that the staging of the video was really pretty clever. This album is indeed nominated for a Grammy. We will all know on February 5th, when the winners are announced. (Here's to hoping they win) Fyi, they also are receiving their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on February 20th. It could be a big month for them. Take care and be safe until I see you again.

I enjoyed your reaction to this song and video. Not sure if you noticed, but there was no beatboxing. So, one reason why those chords sounded so awesome was because they were in 5-part harmony. Also, in the video, the 1st person (actor) is talking to the 2nd person in the next shot, the third to the fourth, etc. You did notice this when the camera seemed to transition through the device screen. And yes, that was a really cool effect. Keep up the great reactions.

Thank you for reacting to this beautiful Pentatonix video. They are amazing. Pentatonix always put songs on their Christmas albums which are not technically Christmas songs. It's a year-round song. It mentioned the word Christmas and it fit the mood of the album so they added it. Stevie Wonder did not write it as a Christmas song. Check the lyrics.
