The five fantastic members of Pentatonix stopped by What's Trending to perform a Bieber/Perry medley and talk about their debut EP, PTX Vol. 1.
The men and women of Pentatonix make what they call "futuristic a capella," but we'll try as best we can to make sure you're all caught up. The quintet of vocalists started as a trio at Martin High School in Arlington, Texas, who built up a following on KZbin with a cover of Lady Gaga's "Telephone." In 2011, the rest of the country took notice when a now-complete Pentatonix roster competed and won Season 3 of NBC's reality competition "The Sing-Off." Their victory song... yeah, that'd be Survivor's "Eye of the Tiger." And they ARE rising up to the challenge of their rivals - The band's EP, PTX Volume 1, recently debuted at #14 on the Billboard Top 200 and they're about to emark on their first-ever nationwide tour.
