OK I must say this is the most honest reaction I have seen. And in a way I get exactly what you have to say John. But you speak of insignificance. Let me ask you a question. Have you thought about the joy you bring to your subscribers? They come to hear what you have to say. And no matter, whether your opinions are light or deep, many people receive joy from you and Lulu. You sir are a rare one that speaks from not only the heart, but the soul as well. And I for one will continue to watch and enjoy.

This might seems like a small thing to you; when you said I'm not giving up, I'll never give up (paraphrasing). That was such a powerful statement, that I AM SURE will help someone and you literally have no idea. You could have even saved one persons life that was contemplating suicide today. Seriously. You have no idea what effect you have on your subscribers. This was proven to me last week. I have this thing I do where I give random people these sayings and one of them is don't give up. I was at a specialist drs appointment and an office manager said, "I still have the one you gave me 3 years ago. Its on my computer moniter and I think about you every single day." That shocked me. Like I said you never know how much you helped people with those words. Thank you so much!!!!!!

The version you’re thinking of is Gary Jules’ version from the Donny Darko soundtrack. It was used in a video game commercial, that’s actually how I found it originally.

I was surprised when I burst into tears listening to this song for the first time. I needed that acknowledgement that it's not just me and somebody else thinks the world has gone mad. I want to be honest so that I can be healthy and pretending that I like what's going on would be a blatant lie yet I find myself putting on the fake smile because I'm the parent. But it's not okay and there's times we need to allow ourselves 2 realize we aren't feeling alright about all this and then gather ourselves up and continue to exist and move forward without losing our self in the process and I'm refusing to change because there was nothing wrong with me before, despite what media would tell us. you can deal with it but don't let them brainwash you just because you're stuck in the house and that's the only then you hear or see unplugged from the TV and pick what you WANT to see on KZbin once in awhile. I actually haven't watched TV in a month or more. No longer interested

For all of us with Anxiety, we can Identify with this song. The 'shadow selves' walking behind them starts out going forward and they reverse and start going backwards. This is superbly shot and their emotion in their faces and voices just show how we feel when we are in an anxiety attack. 10 seconds in when Matt hits us with his first low note I got chills, and when Mitch said 'See right through me', I choke on a sob. I have seen this video over 25 times now and it still affects me. EVERYOEN READING THIS We are worth it, We are glorious, WE BELONG!

Appreciate the honest reaction. Pentatonix creates music that moves us & unites us. This is a mad world but we must be intentional about reaching out to each other. I read a comment that maybe they released this to coincide with Suicide Awareness. I don’t know. But what I do know is that this cover was amazing with intricate harmonies!! The silence break!! The surprises!! Mitch’s strong lower register! The way his gaze was piercing when he sang, “look right through me”. Phenomenal! Mitch & Matt brought spectacular harmonies the likes of which we’ve never heard so clearly before! Now go listen to Happy Now or Sing!! Both excellent uplifting PTX originals:)

It's not an accident that they released this cover now in 2020. I think in some way we're all feeling that David and Goliath moment, where the world is an insurmountable wall we can't climb. There was a post on twitter today by Dr. Aisha Ahmad about us hitting that '6 month mark' of any sustained crisis where there's this collective slump in motivation and innovation. She talks of how she always hit that slumps in disaster zones, and the way to power through is with a head towards survival, not necessarily flourishing. If we can collectively keep moving we will find that joy and creativity again that we had early on, we will adapt. In the meantime, take care of yourselves everyone!

Dear Mr. Lee, don´t feel dishearted or disoriented. I think it´s normal these days to question ourselfs. Cause everthing we knew seems to turn upside down. But that´s not the case. It´s just the other side of the same medal. The dark side of the moon, if you like. We all know that it is up there, although we never saw it. And it´s just the same old fellow that leeds us through the night. I´m just an old german sailor who knows, like all the other sailors too, that it´s hard when you become a playball to fate, in the center of a storm. All you can do is to hold the course and work as hard as you can to keep ship and crew alive. Well now the "storm" rages all over the world and where ever you are. Hold your course, keep your eyes on the horizon and you and your dear ones will make it through. Stay as you are, safe your ground ......... and we´ll make it through these hard times together. Stay safe and healthy.

100 percent agree with the reaction. Nobody wants to get political but being in the US where our president doesn’t have a pet, no pictures of family together, helping people, bringing in by zoom music, poetry, art, where instead of compassion, it’s is mockery, anger, lies instead of plans. Bad things happen with every president. But this one has made everything worse. He has replaced hope and cooperation with lies and hate. It is exhausting, depressing. It hurts.
