Mitch has always been and always be my favorite singer since I first heard him and PTX perform on The Sing Off, not just in PTX but in all genres!

The mad scientist video is Guy.exe by Mitch and Scott's side project of Superfruit. The song is an absolute JAM and the video was a halloween release and is HILARIOUS. Highly recommend watching it, but it's an earworm so be prepared to be singing it for at least a week after!

Green Mitch is from one of their Superfruit side project Vlog episodes: Scott was sick and couldn't go to see Wicked for his birthday as planned, so Mitch did that to cheer him up. The black-and-white live performance was Popspring 2016, a mini-concert in Japan: in technical terms, it's one of the best live PTX performances on KZbin. The video of Scott and Mitch with the glee club boys is from their guest appearance on the TV show "Bones." Kirstin was in it too - she was the head of the girls' glee club at the same school. Re Scott dancing: you should have seen the footage right after Mad Scientist Mitch pulls the lever in in that snip from GUY.EXE (from their Superfruit side project), where Handsome Creature Scott gets the current run through him and flails like a Muppet. They both do pretty well in the dance sequence after that, though. #2 was the episode of The Sing-Off where they basically sewed up the win, although there were two official performances after that. That is 19-year-old Mitch killing it (my favorite Sing-Off performance). And yeah. the last clip, the Imogen Heap cover Aha! at the Star Vista, Singapore, is notorious on the WWW.

They were guest performers at the America's Got Talent finals a few weeks ago. It's on the America's Got Talent Channel and may not come with a lot of copyright issues. Can't promise that however.

Ya, you really need to check out their Superfruit channel - a lot of great music and other stuff, shows a very different side of both Scott and Mitch

Mitch has changed so much since the beginning! My favorite is smiley, bouncy, sassy Mitch! He doesn't do bouncy any longer, but I can still go back and find those videos! He just makes me so very happy to listen to! The first song was from the American Music Awards. The MTV song was from a performance they did. It is called Popspring Performance 2016. It has 4 songs that they performed. 3 of their originals! The one Mitch was sing/rapping in was Can't Sleep Love. I would love it if you were able to do a reaction to the whole Popspring video! It's the best! #7 was called Gold. It is also a bop! #6 is Superfruit! A song called Guy.exe! Another awesome song that shows off their personalities! #1 is the all time best! Aha Singapore Starvista! We would all love for your to react to any and all of these please! Thank you for your reactions!

When cute, bouncy people start looking like adults, it's a problem for them. Like child stars aging out of cute. I think Mitch is still super attractive at 29, but he's not settled on a look for himself yet.

@@thechomiji Totally agree, I just love that that was the way he enjoyed music and it was totally relatable. I had heard that he was getting negative comments about it so that is why he stopped. People just suck sometimes! Chris Martin from Coldplay still hops around because that is how he feels the music when performing. My personal opinion is that he got bullied into being someone different. He is just the best, though!

@@tersommers , I did not know that. Wow. But yes, that also goes with his song "Never Gonna Cry Again." And then some folks were carrying on about the group's serious look on the album cover for Evergreen.

That MTV live was their Pop Spring 2016, 3 originals and an MJ evolution Live. Just to throw this at ya...they have 250+ tunes and videos to check out and all are extremely good. Early "La la Latch" one of my early favs. That walkin after midnight /chandelier was from when they were on the TV series Bones.

U should definitely react to Pentatonix Popspring 2016,it has 3 of their original songs in it.

Thanks for the reaction. I'm surprised that you missed seeing the all over many award shows, morning TV, late night TV, Thanksgiving parades, Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies, etc. They performed and presented with Stevie Wonder at one Grammys and with Smokey Robinson at another. They had 3 NBC Christmas specials of their own. Jennifer Hudson was a guest on one of them. They were invited to the White House when Obama was president after they performed for Tom Hanks at the Kennedy Center Honors. They met them. There are many more that I have not named.

i've never sung (or played) mic'd, always acoustic (as a kid, in college in competition choir, and whilst i was in a small Celtic/folk group). When you do Broadway, opera, or plays, that's how you have to be, because you're playing a character; you can't have a microphone to hang on to or on your head. So it *is* difficult in a way compared to studio-work or concerts, because you must *project*, and do it in key, on pitch, and in time. There are areas of vocal range, especially at the extreme ends, that are really hard to sing well at volume, and you need to change up how you pronounce things to make them clear - and of course, you need to make sure to hear anyone else you're singing with so that you blend well. i never sang solo; i was happy to be harmony and backup, so i *had* to blend. However for me, being mic'd is more difficult than acoustic; unless you have headphones on (in studio) or in-ears (on stage), it's hard to hear the others to make sure you're in tune, time, and blend with them. Because of the overwhelming amplification from outside, it's hard to hear yourself to monitor your own pitch and timbre. i have an extreme abhorrence to hearing my own recorded voice, and likewise to standing out or being noticed, so having amplification is always nerve-wracking. (Luckily, my group did SCA events and little local coffee-house gigs, always acoustic; the one album i was part of, i put the side of the headphones that fed my voice to me off my ear so i couldn't hear it.)
