Great reaction!! Yes, Cant' sleep love is an original...awesome video. The Star wars theme and Stevie wonders are both on one of the award shows. The other you said you hadn't seen was Meghan Trainor's No.

Oh yeah! If you haven't seen their "Can't Sleep Love" video, you'll love it, not only for the harmonies but the visual creativeness in it is awesome too.

There is a video of them in a cafeteria at a table someone ask them to sing and they did. They sang sweet dreams-it’s on a phone camera and sometimes shaky,- it’s them at the start of the group. This is when I became obsessed with them! It was posted by selame Scarlett.

NICE, love me some mitch compilations. in videos like "scott basking over mitch" you get to see different videos of different performances and it's when you can see how consistent he is

Thank you Jerod, on point as always. Mitch has in absolute my favorite male voice (after the italian songwriter Fabrizio de André, dead in 1999. But Fabrizio had a deep, warm, reassuring voice totally different from Mitch). Mitch isn't the singer with the higthest voice. Dimash Kudaibergen reaches very high notes but the texture, the quality the control and the sweetness of the Mitch's voice are unique (my stupid son says that Dimash is like a choked chicken). In reality he is a very good singer but in my opinion his perfect technique lacks empathy. Jerod!!!! This time i wrote all myself. Google help me only for the term "lacks". I hope i learned some English. 😅😅

Your son is right. He does sound like a choked chicken. It gets tiresome after a while.

I am a huge country fan but if I could only listen to one singer for the rest of my life, it would be Mitch. I love when he sings in the lower range as well (or whatever you call it, I don't know much about music, I just know what I like to listen to)

The performance with Stevie Wonder was from the 2016 Grammys. They sang "That's the way of the world" by Earth Wind and Fire as a tribute to Maurice White of EWF who had passed just a week or two prior to the ceremony. Unfortunately, the Grammy peeps copyright claim and have stuff taken down so any vids of the performance are gone from youtube EXCEPT a few people who did reactions to it right when it aired. So if you want to watch it just to see it, the easiest is to find one of the reaction vids (Shay is one). A performance not in this video but you might be interested in is from a 2017 Grammy special that was a tribute to the Bee Gees. They sang "Too Much Heaven". Again, the Grammy police had all of the "good" vids of the performance removed, but there is still a video that someone in the back of the audience took from the night of the taping. Star Wars is from the 2015(?) American Music Awards. It was a tribute to the John Williams scoring of Star Wars movies. There are a couple recordings of this on youtube, one is just the performance and the other has about 2 minutes of Harrison Ford talking prior to PTX's performance. Some other goodies in this vid: = PTX on "Bones" - Scott, Mitch, and Kirstin were on an episode of "Bones" as members of rival collegiate a cappella groups. Kirstin is in an all-female group and Scott/Mitch are in an all-male group. Long story short, the music director of the mens group is murdered and everyone is a suspect for various reasons including Scott's/Mitch's/Kirstin's characters. = We Are Ninjas - fun song they did in collab with MTV as promo for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. There is also a behind the scenes vid from the night they shot the video. = Pop Goes Broadway (part of Ariana Grande's "Break Free" is in this video) - Superfruit with Shoshana Bean. = Valentine - PTX has a music video for it, but they also did it in private performance. I would suggest the Private Performance unless you want to do a Studio vs Live comparison. = Can't Sleep Love - Has a music video and there are tons of live performances as they've sung it on tour for the last 3 yrs. A great Live version is from Popspring (a music festival in Japan). It was recorded for TV so it's awesome video and audio.

Jerod, I had already seen this video on PTX's channel, but wanted to see your reaction to it. Mitch is a very gifted singer. Thank you for pointing out about the straining as some people think it is. I agree with you on the points brought out as I knew them as well. Any extended note, but especially a high one, takes a lot of energy -- and pretty much all you've got to hold on to it and do it very well. I have never been a soprano -- was a contralto for the most part, but sang baritone and tenor in the choirs in high school as we needed the 'male' voices (LOL). Once again, a great reaction video! Thanks so much for all you do Jerod!! This is your casino dealer who just got home from work !!

Thank you Jerod! Please react to "Happy Little Pill" cover by Superfruit. There was one little blurb in the video you just reacted to. Love the song and I like their version better than Troye Sivan's original. I'm just partial to Mitch's voice. Also, please check out Pentatonix's new video "Making Christmas". Love it!

Yes please watch Pentatonix and Stevie wonder at the Grammy’s, PTX doing Star Wars, Cant Sleep Love (an original) has a great video and another one you hadn’t seen was No which would be great for a comparison video to Megan Trainor’s original since they have lifted the copyright off of it now. Also you looked like you hadn’t seen Their cover of Dance of the sugarplum Fairy. Won their second Grammy for that and the video editing is great.

Have you reached to Pop goes Broadway? If not, could you please... along with the star wars performance and the stevie wonder performance. I don't know if you've ever seen it but they were also in a tribute to the bee gees and they were amazing. I'm not sure that video is available but I'll look.

judith Cure the last time I looked The Bee Gees tribute video had been removed and the only one I could find was filmed off of someone’s tv. Too bad. It was a great performance.

You have got to see the Star Wars video! What I like about Mitch is his ability to, not only build up to the high notes, (ie. a scale/arpeggio, or even a broken scale), but also to just hit them out of the blue. His pitch sense must be phenomenal. Pleased to hear you talk about 'counter tenors' (or in old money 'Castrato'). Not very well understood until artists like this and The Filipino singers.

I love your channel, so please don't get me wrong! But, you are missing out on SO much that is happening in current time.. 😔. It would be so awesome if you could include current content with the older content, as both are SO good, and the current stuff honestly needs support for the group regarding ratings, views, sales, shares... etc They need that since Avi left. 😳 It feels like most of the fandom is only interested in Avi era music instead of ALL their music. The fans would love it too! It's sad that no one is requesting current pieces and out of this world feats by Pentatonix and Mitch himself. For example the Summer tour that was well documented, and had Mitch hitting a ridiculous high note in "Sorry, not Sorry" "belted and sustained" in true "Aha!" Live, Singapore Star Vista" stance night after night for 34 concerts this summer. It's on the new PTXperience, and the person filming is standing on stage, behind Mitch as he sings that note so you see Mitch, His new Wardrobe, and a huge ( HUGE!) sea of concert goers losing their minds and the Confetti Cannons go off like a huge exclamation mark! .. They did ten "PTXperience Summer Tour 2018" episodes that you and everybidy here would enjoy so much! And they dropped their first single's Official Video from their upcoming (October release) New Christmas Album last Friday. It's called "Making Christmas" from "A Nightmare Before Christmas" And it's crazy visually and vocally! It's Christmas meets Halloween and it's mind blowing! Mitch takes his theatricality up another notch!

I agree with you. But i think that some fans need a lot more time to accept the fact that Avi left the group. I love Matt so much and think his joy, his empathy with Kevin, his smile and his sunny nature in the end will be winners. (sorry my english!!)
