I had never heard the Pentatonix version, because I am a huge Fleet Foxes fan I had to check this one out. They are talented, but the original is true indie folk with so much soul. Check them out along with their ‘A Lonely Solstice’ album where they sing inside of a French Cathedral ‘Wading in the Waist High water’, it’s incredible!

This song is literally my fifth grade year. 2019 to 2020. Covid year. I remember entering middle school, and this was the chorus's winter song. life was so different back then, and my school had such a good vibe. I would hum this as i walked down to art, my favorite room in the building. This is one of my most nostalgic songs, and i am so glad to have something that reminds me of before everything went astray. Middle school just doesn't feel the same anymore. So glad this song exists.
