Oh, I'm torn. I'm glad we get both. Because on the one hand it's wonderful with the versions where they have fussed over every little vowel choice and tone and being able to absorb the optimized version of what they want to show us and that is their creative vision. But there is also something so special with live one-takes. Getting both is the best of both worlds to me!

@@taverlisk3304 It's not heavy pitch correction. It's melodyne on already proven talented singers. It is what it is, I don't care much. I assume the video posted recently have given people new wind to pick on it. Don't like it, not your vibe, don't watch it? Personally I don't get mad at movies for using cgi, nor am I naive enough to think a big label group doesn't have processed vocals. They are a pop group. I don't mind using tools as a choice or effect. It only bothers me when it's used in place of talent. It's clearly not the case here. They are competing in the mainstream pop-sphere, so they have to adhere to that sound. And in that avenue, they are very much in the low end of vocal processing.
