For me, this connects with so many families separated from each other by Covid that connect only with their loved ones by phone. I haven't seen my mom, who's 93, since the first lockdown of Covid in 2020, since her senior residence has stayed in lockdown all the way till now. It's worked - they've only had 2 cases, both who recovered. Mom has not had it at all. So, "I just called to say I love you!" has special meaning to me. I miss her so much! I may see her in the New Year; they're lifting the lockdown for visitors who can show a vaccination card! I'm so glad to see you back! Missed you so much!

While the arrangement on this isn't my favorite from Pentatonix, I like this because it is a good instant demonstration of how vastly Kirstie has improved her voice. Until just the past few years, we wouldn't have gotten that lovely fast vibrato she often now uses, she would have sung it straight, and less interestingly.
