I hate mentioning this because I'm normally against doing this but I CANNOT hear this song without thinking about how it all started with Avi in the group... I don't know, I mean, OF COURSE I am overjoyed that Avi is happy where he is now (and I wouldn't want him back in the group where alot of stress weighed down on him) and I'm so glad he didn't want to hold the others back... But knowing how things ended up, this song gives me a twinge of sadness. However, it also does make me smile because I feel like Avi would be singing this too; he shared in what these five (Matt included) feel now. He may not be in the PTX spotlight anymore but I know he feels lucky to be where he is now, despite everything that went on. I hope no one takes what I'm saying out of context. I respect Avi for making the hardest decision in his life because he did for the sake of his mental health. And I'm happy his decision didn't wreck Pentatonix's flow at all. Anyway, I can already tell that this song is catchy and is gonna get repeat button abuse but I just wanted to share my thoughts. I hope y'all understand where I'm coming from and don't attack me for it. ❤️️

@@JacobRestituto 👍👍YES! This is about their PENTATONIX journey. When they participated and WON. The Sing Off Scott, Kirstie and Mitch were 19 yrs old. Avi was 21 and Kevin was about to turn 22. They were the youngest MOST TALENTED and MOST SUCCESSFUL group to make it out of that show. Their talent is INCREDIBLE and are World wide phenomenons! I AM SO PROUD OF THEM! I LOVE THEM SO MUCH!! YOU SHOULD REACT TOBTHEIR SING OFF JOURNEY. Scott and Mitch have been friends since they were 10 yrs old. Kirstie and Mitch met at 9 yrs old the 3 of them are from Texas. Avi is from California Kevin is from Kentucky. Matt is from Maryland.

I think people are commenting about doubling up on vocals relative to one singer recording multiple parts. Particularly in the harmony, background, coral sections they do make multiple recordings of themselves singing the exact same part and overlay them to just give it a bigger feel for the recording. That being said they can still sing that song on a tour on stage because they’re all still singing a single part.
