Thanks for sharing this. I have just got one of these in really good cosmetic condition that came with a camera. The ISO wheel just runs free and I had no idea if that was correct. It is likely that at some point it has been opened and the tiny ball bearings and maybe the springs that you have shown us here have been lost. I will open mine up and follow your instructions here. Thanks again for sharing this. Extremely helpful.

I now have one fully working meter! and it seems pretty accurate. All I need now, is one grub screw for the ASA ring for the other meter, unless it will turn and function OK with just the one holding screw (I have not tried that yet) and then I should have two fully working meters... It's nice to have a back up :) Another helpful video, thank you!

Thats great! If you should ever need to know, the pop-it balls used in the ASA adjustment appear to be 1.5mm. I just received the ball bearings I ordered on line today, the originals mic out at .062, the balls I got today mic out at .058 and seem to fit fine. Turns out that 2 of the other three meters I have dont have ASA drums and the third has no springs so I could actually fit them and test them but it looks good so far.

@@tobroken1965 Those original balls must of been made back in the mid 60's?! that was a good find for a replacement... I'm looking forward to eventually shooting a roll of film soon, and actually using this damn meter! But first, I want to try out my newly light sealed SP1000 with a working meter and start developing my own film again :)
