Wow, great deal. I got mine for $25 in a mint condition. And it's still one of the best 50s I've ever had. Actually better than 1.4M version. With a6000 is a perfect match for portrait.

Adapted Alpha, i have owned both the smc a and smc m versions of this lens, they are optical identical.. the real power of this is for black and white. because it has low contrast, which will show all the wonderful small differences in the midlle tone areas. please give it a try, and you will love it

Hey man love the channel, A6000 owner here, which vintage lenses would you recommend for filmaking? I was thinking about geting a Canon FD 28 mm 2.8 and Canon Fd 50 mm 1.4 (same adapter)

When you adapt lenses to our cameras, do you have to turn the electronic front shutter off?

Have you done/are you planning to do any reviews on any vintage 24mm lenses? I know Vivitar, as well as Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Minolta and Olympus make mf 24mm lenses...

+Paul M Hi Paul. I don't come across many 24's when out thrift shopping, but I do plan on reviewing them in the future. Happy adapting:)

Paid $45 for the f/2 together with the adapter for my Sony a6300.

+JAY KAY Awesome! Is the f/2 your primary lens?
@keiserious7 жыл бұрын
AdaptedAlpha my primary is the kit lens 18-55mm...using the f/2 has been a challenge since there is no stabilization
@keiserious7 жыл бұрын
Brannan DI the f1.4 & f1.2 produce sharper images but the f2 is not bad at all.

Pointless video, why would we care what you paid? I mean show some photos taken with the lens or something! Otherwise It's just showing a bargain you got, again 😴
