My father-in-law was a court deputy and was present in the courtroom to hear this beaut - plumber was hired to take care of problem with the pipes in the wall. Plumber exposed pipes, did what he needed to, ran plumbing tools to truck and brought back materials to repair hole in drywall. Repaired drywall, got paid and left. A short time later, the customer is unable to find her cat. After listening closely, she realized there was purring coming from behind the patched wall. Frantic, the customer grabbed a hammer to make a hole in the wall to retrieve her beloved pet. In doing so, she broke a water pipe and was responsible for drowning her cat. She was suing plumber to replace her pet.

Once my parents' dog (springer spaniel) came into the room, puked and left. I went to clean it up and realised it was a whole rat. It looked wet but not obviously chewed. Edit: TL;DR: The dog got ratted and threw up on the carpet.

I wanted to do something to end this year on a good note. So, I adopted a dog! The second day I had her, I awoke to vomit all over the sofa and floor. And a mouse got into the house. And the washing machine broke. But, the dog is feeling better and she is so sweet! Hang on everyone! Things are going to get better!

He doesn’t have to redo the panel, he needs to mud over the hole. It’s not super hard but it is annoying. Probably just needs to put back the piece that was cut out and mud over that.

no would have to cut the hole bigger to the studs so that you can cut new piece of dry wall and be able to screw that new piece to the studs otherwise if you were to just patch it and down the road someone was to bump into that spot it would just pop the cut out piece out as nothing holding that piece there other than little bit of mud which breaks easy when dried

The honey spilled in the car will be fine. Over time it'll dry out, crystallize, and blow away. It won't smell. I spilled 1kg in my car once. No problem. It's MILK that would have been disastrous.

I wish people would quit with “quarantine “ terminology. In a real quarantine you can’t go out, see anybody or even touch anything that hasn’t been sterilized. We have restrictions,, NOT quarantine.

JamayaCupcake Because my job has very specific definitions and procedures for quarantine and lock-down. I’ve been through both and the “stay-at-home” orders are merely strong suggestions, not forced situations such as a real quarantine or lockdown.

Who the Hell sits on their mobile phone on hold for 7 hours???? It's 6-08pm - they probably all went home more than an hour ago and forgot all about you anyway. Hang up and phone them again and tell them not to put you on hold for so long after 10 or 15 minutes FFS. What an idiot!!!! OMG, another one, 11 hours. Funny story that has to do with one of these photos: My grandparents have this backyard neighbor and one day the kid climbed over the fence with a BB gun and shot two of their windows in the back of the house with a BB gun. My grandpa had to call the police. Yes this was in quarantine.
