I'm still surprised she's still going with these Bratz repaints. The amount of plain and regular dolls there are in the market now, I think she chooses to still repaint Bratz out of spite because that's what gets her being talked about.

I really dislike Sonia. There is nothing wrong with women or feminine people wearing makeup. Dolls are aspirational, and there is nothing wrong with makeup or glamour.

Right, makeup is a form of art and expression. I really should’ve talked about this in my video. I can understand her point of view on wanting to be natural, but that clip of her husband saying “her dolls look like they’re doing it for themselves” just shows how she views other women. It’s such a disgrace and so disrespectful.

Now we know where all the Bratz dolls have gone 🙄 I have no words for this. My parents weren’t too fond of Bratz when I was a kid but they never stopped me from having them. If you want a doll with no makeup go buy a baby doll. Like you said, they’re her dolls & just let her do whatever she’s doing 🤦🏼‍♀️ Seeing princess Cloe like that bothers me so much. She’s my most cherished doll in my collection & seeing her like THAT was just disturbing.

Tbh I personally really do like the look of the Tree Change dolls as unique artist dolls, but I can understand why they would frustrate Bratz collectors, bcus I would probably feel the same way about someone heavily customising rare or sought after dolls from the brand I collect (American Girl)

Back when I used to like dolls, I loved stuff like LOL OMG dolls, Bratz, Barbies, etc. I would’ve found Tree Change dolls way too plain as a kid, but honestly I think they look pretty cool. A bit plain, but they look very friendly and homely in a way. I kinda like it.

I’d like to do something like this, but not by repainting dolls. I’ve been finding a lot of old 80s and 90s Barbies without their original outfits (or with damaged / ugly outfits) and I really enjoy making doll clothing. I’d like to sell dolls wearing cute OOAK outfits. The only time I’d repaint a doll is if I want to customise a (good quality) knock off or a damaged doll.

I love those aboriginal dolls! She definitely needs more hype and mainstream because First Nations Australians are very underrepresented and her dolls are so beautiful and accurate. I definitely would love to buy one of hers. Growing up I always thought Felicia was aboriginal since I grew up in Australia but to have actual First Nation made dolls by a First Nation artists, that's amazing. Always support black artists and designers 🖤💛❤️

I dislike a lot the new faces she gives them, they are all very similar, and also she destroys dolls' enthic features. But more than that I hate comments 'bout how that ugly bratz doll finally look good now, that artist just saved the doll from being so slutty-looking & giving children a bad impact. People need to calm down, they are just dolls. I love bratz so much, they're so stylish and gorgeous, and seeing a great doll been turned into this creepiness, makes me really sad.

I am probably twice your age. At the time, Tree change dolls were new and refreshing after decades of glamour over the top fashion dolls. I grew up in it. Superstar Barbie, pink through and through then 2000s glam with Myscene and Bratz, it wasn't very relatable. Then Monster High which I really loved but was again very otherworldly and extra in their own way. At the time also, Bratz were not sought after and not really collectible yet. I think she contributed to make Barbie more 'down to earth' which gave us the much needed diversity we see nowadays. Also Tree change dolls are my first encounter with doll repainting and customizing, I thought it was so cool. HOWEVER, I am surprised Tree change dolls still exist! I don't see them as relevant nowadays and I understand why Bratz collectors get upset...

I don't really care for Bratz dolls myself and I also like to repaint them and make flower girls out of them, but don't worry...
