People HATE Five Laps at Freddy's...

So it seems people didn't like Five Laps at Freddy's (FLaF)...
FLaF is a Brand New Kart Racing game made by Clickteam Studio and some people really didn't like the demo that came out

It doesn't feel like Scott made/suggested them to push out this demo, like you said it hasn't been in development for very long (less then a year) so it feel like Clickteam rushed themselves to release a demo for the anniversary. (This is what i feel, i could be wrong)

@@zauraux I think in the Dawko interview Scott said Security Breach came out the way it did cause he didn't tell Steelwool how he wanted it, he just gave them pieces to the story and left them to put it together somehow. But yeah this kinda feels the same

i mean this was not the only problem with sb. covid, overinflated ambitions, bad planning, miscommunication. but what i meant by that comment is that the game was obviously released unfinished (let alone unpolished) which can only happen when you meet the deadline and have to release the product as is, but in steel wool's case there doesn't seem to be any other figure that would obligate them for deadline but themselves

they Mario Kart'ed FNAF 😭 (btw my headcanon is that these spin-offs are like minigames from the arcade machines found on the pizzarias of the franchise, that's why they look so different from the main games)

⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠@@therealkomasanwell you see, people except a crap ton of bugs in an alpha or unfinished game, but not in a demo to a game A demo is meant to show a window into the fully released game, it’s meant to have a small amount of bugs in it (can’t have zero, that’s just impossible) People are mad because of the demo having this many glitches in it and people are asking if that really going to bode well for the whole entire game If this was alpha or a game jolt game, than that would be more reasonable But since this is being released by well known developers and if the demo has an overwhelming number of bugs than it should be delayed at some point It’s not that people are forgetting its early in development, it’s people being mad that a demo to a game is full of bugs and glitches when it should have been delayed for a bit. Could be a good game but people are going to be less eager to play it since this was there first experience with it. Tl;dr: (most) are mad that a demo is being treated like its alpha to a game that should have been delayed for a week or 2.

Five Laps At Freddys is a cashgrab with "fugly" character models, and more softlocks than security breach on release. i know its a demo but the game needs work down to how it actually works and looks, and without any multiplayer or reason for people to return, it wont live long

It's a demo it's going to have problems, And I only had 2 problems with me playing for 4 hours. And anyway security breach was fine it has it's problems but they got fixed over time. @@therealkomasan i made a video playing it, the designs look bad, and the gameplay causes constant softlocks and crashes it also has now reason for people to replay it without a online co op, the local co op limiting to same device, so it would have a short life span, and in order for a short life span game to cover the budget, it would need a high price tag making it a cash grab. its sad but its the truth, its a exciting concept that will probably be fun for a short while, but in the end the game will have a half life of a week (i said a much meaner comment previously and i am sorry)

@@YTDaveyyyy it's a demo not the full game so I don't honestly know what you're expecting, the full game will have split screen and hopefully online play. Plus 12 characters and 16 stages. I played the game on KZbin as well. I love the character designs, the music and stages. I'm a huge fan of this game and I always will be
