Actually, dragstrips have grippy asphalt for the cars to have better grip, but it ends up being a sticky mess if you walk on it without proper footwear. Big fan of you, Kris 😊😊

Eh there’s a few reasons you’d do that. Stability isn’t an issue because she’s fairly stable and there are plenty of people. Keeping your wrist aligned reduces risk to the fire fighters wrist, and most fire fighters are nursing some kind of injuries with limbs. So it could just be that he has wrist problems. Using fist like that means he can lift higher whilst keeping in the stronger part of his range of motion. Which if you’re holding a weight above your head like this will matter. Source: I have spent plenty of time holding people in bizarre ways as a fire fighter.

Hey Kris, I'm not doing so well. Currently, watching your videos is a reprieve from my miserable existence. I recently lost my grandpa, and having lost both my parents already (mid thirties here) I'm just at a loss. I'm broke, living paycheck to paycheck and I'm unable to travel from the east coast back home to the west for the funeral and visit my remaining family. It's just that I was an explosive bomb back in the day and funnily Markiplier and Kris have made me chill. I would have probably found a better excuse in the past for why it would have made me mad, but really it was just a way to release pressure and I think what happened is that her person lightens my day (especially with those random compliments, still catches me off guard with those somehow). Fyi for anyone wondering, the person that was stuck was in the staging area of a drag strip. That area is where the cars do a burnout to warm the tyres, it also lays rubber down on the track to make it even stickier. This makes the car grip more when its launched, resulting in a faster time.
