The part with the wolf almost made me cry. We used to have a pet timerwolf named Spirit. He was in my dads life since he was about....25 maybe? Well anyways, Spirit died when my dad was about 56, so he had a long, happy life. Nothing could replace him, and we never loved any other pets we have gotten as much as we had Spirit. A lil' educational time for you Kris (and anyone else): When a cat scratches like that ( 8:01 ) it actually means its happy. Its normaly called "making biscuits". The cat is comfortable and it is reminded of it's childhood when it was doing that motion to drink it's mom's milk. It basicly means the cat is happy. Another fun fact, kittens get the meat shakes when they eat, so they look like they are shivering sometimes, its super cute and makes me giggle. Kittens are the best, and I agree, those little munchkin ones are so adorable!😍😻 My cat has stolen my water cup and it belongs to her now, she wont use her dish at all and must come from my black and purple mug, always!

I have owned cats and dogs... and I can say I personally prefer cats as they are more independent - so less responsibility, they're nocturnal while I am a heavy night owl, their purrs are literally healing for you, and they're super calming / relaxing. Don't get me wrong, I loved my dogs, but cleaning up after them and walking them are both annoying. Unfortunately, my mother is mildly allergic to their saliva, so since cats clean themselves constantly it gets bad after prolonged times...

The one with the wolf is from an animal rescue. That wolf was at some point was owned by someone and rescued by this animal rescue. So that wolf was raised in captivity. I follow quite a few wolf/wolf dog rescues/shelters.

8:06 that’s called kneading. Cats knead to convey comfort. They’ll often do it when laying in your lap which hurts. It’s good to trim cats’ nails since they can get caught on soft surfaces, but there’s also the risk of them losing the ability to retract their claws. Cutting cats’ nails can be good since cats tend to live longer when aloud outdoors, and when cats are outside, they need their claws to climb and defend themselves. Arthritic cats, indoor or outdoor, don’t usually exercise enough to keep their nails short via scratching.

I love both dogs and cats, but dogs tend to peak my anxiety because of their high energy, and their SO MUCH WORK meanwhile my cats are just chill, docile, and so incredibly independent. All I gotta do is feedem and clean their box twice a week and I get just as much love from them as any dog.

I had a rabbit. He was obsessed with my dog. He lived a very long life, he was 9 when he was finally starting to show signs that he wasn’t doing well. But that rabbit was also a huge asshole! I have 2 cats right now and both are jerks but I love them to bits and pieces ❤️
