Now, this part of the hist about the name of Osei Tutu's mum has thrown me a bit! Bcos Asante history emphatically states that OT's mum was called Maanu Kotosii & also she was sent to an Akwapim fetish, who treated her to become pregnant. So, he was named after that deity called Tutu. Also, O.T.was born in Anyinam a village wch is a mile from Kokofu. BHTW, his other name was Osei Kyeretwie because a tiger was caught on the day he was born, around the current Adum prison's area, then a forest. Clarity is needed for this discrepancy, pls

He said some Ashantis lived there when they came to trade with the British. Some didn't return to Ashanti but, the name of the town is not because the Ashantis lived there
